Glad to hear this is getting another season as I enjoyed the first one back when it aired. I got quite far with it but didn't catch the last couple of episode. I have it on Blu-ray so will watch it from the beginning at some point.
Given this seems to be happening more recently I hold out hope that Yozakura Quartet gets another series or round of OVAs (there's still plenty of the manga's serialisation to adapt). It'd be nice that the gap be lessened so we don't have to wait 7-8 years but better that we get something than nothing.
