Newmont Corporation Adopts Esri's Site Scan for ArcGIS

Partnership with Esri Provides Drone Mapping Solution to Mine Sites Worldwide
REDLANDS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ArcGIS—Esri, the global leader in location intelligence, today announced that Newmont Corporation, a Colorado-based gold mining company, will use Site Scan for ArcGIS to supply drone workflow tools under its Global Drone Operating Model. With Site Scan for ArcGIS, Newmont will have a standardized, cloud-based platform to scale the company’s drone operations, which span surface and underground facilities across seven countries. Newmont will use Site Scan for ArcGIS alongside ArcGIS Pro for monitoring and analysis, reclamation reporting, and improvement of health and safety initiatives.
