Another of the Circle City's warm-weather traditions will return with Newfields' National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series. After canceling the popular event in 2020, the art and nature campus has announced 14 films that have been curated in collaboration with film scholar Coye Lloyd.
The movies, which span 1940 to 2020, will show a wide array of stories, including such classics as Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" and Michael Schultz's "Cooley High."
The Summer Nights experience will be much the same, albeit with an audience capacity at 40% in Newfields' Amphitheater, social distancing and the requirement to wear a mask except when seated.
