A two-vehicle wreck Saturday six miles east of Graham on U.S. Hwy. 380 resulted in the death of a Newcastle woman and two others being transported to Graham Regional Medical Center. Kerri Forbus, 43, of Newcastle, was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries sustained in the wreck Saturday, Oct. 7 near Centeridge Lane in Young County.
