Joe Douglas will personally be attending NDSU’s Pro Day today, and one big name is on that list. That is Trey Lance, the star quarterback. Lance is admittedly more of a ‘raw’ prospect, but he could have the most potential out of any quarterback in the 2021 NFL Draft. While I personally don’t expect the Jets to go after Lance, Joe Douglas is doing what he does best - due diligence. It’s a common theme under the regime of Joe Douglas, as he doesn’t seem to leave any stone unturned. It’s shown to disgruntle some players, but as a General Manager it’s what you want out of the position. Closed mindedness is a huge downfall when in that position, as it limits the ability to get things down in the present, or even down the road.
