New school for children with autism and learning disabilities in Crumlin is a welcome development 18th December 2020 - Mary Seery-Kearney A new Special School which will open in 2021 is a much-needed development which will greatly assist children with learning disabilities, a Fine Gael Senator has said. Dublin South Central Senator Mary Seery-Kearney said, “I was delighted to welcome the announcement yesterday by Minister Josepha Madigan, Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion of the establishment of a new Special School in 2021 on the campus of the former Scoil Colm in Crumlin, Dublin 12. “This is a much-needed development which will help to meet the demand for special school places in the area.
