New legislative bill fights for motor vehicle homicide felon

Family of Dr. Matthew Latacha testified in support of LB 1340 or Latacha's Law to increase the penalty for motor vehicle homicide to a felony charge. Dr. Latacha died last September when a driver hit his bicycle from behind. The driver faced a misdemeanor.
