Does everything come to those who wait? That’s what comedian Deborah Vance hopes to discover in the third season of the Emmy-winning comedy, “Hacks.” Her goal: A late-night talk show. “It’s something that she’s thought of so much over the years and hung onto,” says Jean Smart, the two-time Emmy winner who plays Vance. “She felt she’d sort of made peace with it and, all of a sudden, she has this opportunity to host.”
