Updated: 6:19 PM EST Feb 3, 2021 There's a new push to boost and support Black-owned retail businesses in downtown Baltimore.The Downtown Partnership launched the BOOST Program Wednesday.BOOST, which stands for Black-owned and Occupied Storefront Tenancy, is presented by the downtown-based technology company Fearless.The program will provide five businesses with up to $50,000.The business owners can either renovate a vacant space or move their online business into a brick-and-mortar place.Five winners will be announced in April.For anyone who would like to know more about the BOOST Program can click here for more information.
