On January 23, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Nevada State Police responded to a crash at the location of Eastbound US50 near Highlands Drive (Mile Marker 1) in Lyon County, Nevada. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2000 Ford F-350 was traveling eastbound on US50 approaching Highlands Drive.
