Neelofa and hubby to be charged for violating SOP during carpet shopping trip


NILAI: TV host-entrepreneur Neelofa will be charged at the Magistrate's Court here on Thursday (May 20) for allegedly not adhering to Covid-19 prevention procedures when shopping for carpets at Nilai 3 near here, which was in violation of the conditional movement control order.
The 32-year-old celebrity will be charged for failing to scan her details via the MySejahtera application or manually before entering the premises.
Her husband, Muhammad Haris Muhammad Ismail, 26 will also be charged for the same offence they allegedly committed on May 2.
Nilai OCPD Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said Muhammad Haris would be slapped with an additional charge of failing to put on a face mask while in a public place.
