Nearly a century after its founding, Rubbermaid is leaving W

WOOSTER  Store manager Scott Moreland has worked at Everything Rubbermaid for 28-years. Soon he will have to leave his career behind as the store plans to close in nearly two months, ending it's century-long history here.
The iconic outlet on South Market Street is slated to close at the end of June, according to a statement provided by a Newell Products spokesperson.
"No store closing decision is ever made lightly or without serious thought and consideration," the statement read. "We are grateful to our Everything Rubbermaid store employees who have consistently delivered an amazing guest experience to guests since 1993. We will provide them with transition assistance and care."
