(Photo from DFA Facebook) + April 02, 2021 ALMOST 100,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have returned to the Philippines this year amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic. Data from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (Owwa) showed that a total of 97,742 OFWs have returned to their families from January 1 to March 22, 2021. Of the total, there were 40,339 Luzon-based OFWs who were brought home via the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange. A total of 57,403 OFWs, on the other hand, were brought home to Visayas and Mindanao via the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
