After more than a year of online sessions and not being able to meet in person, they’re ready to go back to the City Opera House. The National Writers Series brings successful authors to the Traverse City area to engage readers, and they’re excited to be back together again soon. The first in-person guest will be John U. Bacon, author of the New York Times bestseller “Let Them Lead.” “A lot has gone into the planning and the safety of all this and we’re just so happy to be back in our home, to be back downtown; but mainly to be able to bring you those authors up close and personal on stage so you can see them and connect with them and feel friends come together again at the City Opera House,” said National Writers Series Executive Director Jillian Manning.
