National search begins for new MU athletics director COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The University of Missouri has started the search for the 21st athletics director with a nine-person search advisory committee. The committee consists of university leaders and other stakeholders with proven experience and deep knowledge of the evolving college athletic landscape. “We’re excited to launch this national search,” said Mun Choi, president of the University of Missouri. “We’re seeking to hire a proven AD with a track record of visionary leadership, business acumen, fundraising successes, high integrity, effective management skills and a focus on the well-being of our student-athletes.
