Officials announced over the weekend that the state will be providing the county with a firefighting helicopter, and nearly 50 firefighters. The county says the helicopter will be capable of dropping 1,000 gallons of water and the new firefighters will staff a 24-hour crew. The investment is estimated to cost $3 million according to officials. Quick Links
