(Representational Image)  |  Photo Credit: PTI Mumbai: Amid a rapid spike in the Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation threatened to gatecrash wedding celebrations if they are found flouting COVID-19 protocols. As of now, only 50 people are allowed to gather for wedding celebrations. The BMC tweet read, "As much as we love The Big Fat Indian Weddings, we hope that you are following all Covid norms. After all, 'safety' is the best gift you could give to the newlyweds. And if not, then we'd hate to gatecrash the celebrations - for the safety of Mumbai!."
