Since then, there has been an outpouring of support from the community, including multiple fundraisers. Residents have also placed KSS colours on their doorknobs to honour the students and their families and a former KSS teacher created a cartoon showing the community support. The Katelin Bevan Kelowna Memorial Fund was started, May 28, to support the Bevan family. It has raised more than $9,000 out of its $10,000 goal as of June 9.
