Welcome to The Weekend. I am Alicia Menendez with symone sanderstownsend. Michael steele is off at we began with news is from the Middle East. Hezbollah, the iranian backed militant group based in lebanon confirmed its leader has been killed. The news broke from the Israeli Military who said it targeted Hassan Nasrallah in a series of airstrikes in southern beirut friday. Overnight, hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets across the border towards israel. The Israeli Military continued intensive strikes across lebanon. Smack joining us now from beirut is Msnbc CorrespondentMatt Bradley. A lot of new information to cover this morning. Give us the latest. Reporter yeah, guys, first of all, the reason i am wearing all this Body Armor is in an abundance of caution. Ever since immediately after the announcement by hezbollah they confirmed the death of Hassan Nasrallah have been killed, we have experienced a burst of gunfire from right behind me from the neighborhood and possibly on the beach. It is gunfire. This could either be celebratory or in mourning. There is the neighborhood behind me and these are all hezbollah strongholds, Shiite Muslim majority neighborhoods of beirut. We are just outside of the city, kind of like suburbs and the southern part of the city. This is where israel targeted that enormous secession of blasts, most of them bunker Buster Bombs it sounds like, that struck underneath the ground and killed Hassan Nasrallah, it sounds like several of his top deputies, as well. We are hearing, of course, the casualty numbers, which was only five or six, is likely to increase but the fact is, israel, it does not seem like they are finished yet. We also saw another column of smoke just a few minutes ago rising out of that neighborhood. Israel has said they will continue to Pummel Hezbollah targets across the country. Indeed, here in the capital beirut, it looks as though the killing of hezbollahs leaders has not satisfied the israelis. They want to punish and push back hezbollah to prevent them from continuing their attacks on northern israel. Now, this is a moment that it is hard to describe. This was a giant figure, Hassan Nasrallah, not just here in lebanon, where he led the most powerful political and Military Forces in the country, he also led the most potent opposition to israel in the entire Middle East, the biggest beneficiary of iranian assets, the biggest leader of the axis of iranian aligned militant groups and cut a profile throughout the entire world. He was more of the Lone Star for all of these different groups, leftist organizations, anticolonial groups, groups who are antiwestern throughout the entire world. You would see his face in places like Latin American countries in the leftleaning political parties. He led this tiny country of lebanon and his death will send shockwaves not just to the Middle East but throughout the entire world and set off a secession, while not necessarily a crisis, but a Secession Question within hezbollah. Who will take the reins of this organization, but jiggly now, especially after so many of its top leaders have been killed in the last week of israeli airstrikes and in the week before that really unusual attack that israel used bombing pagers and walkietalkies that maimed thousands of commandos, literally, israel has sheared the Trigger Fingers off the fighters they would be facing off against if and when they decided to launch a Ground Invasion. The question of an israeli Ground Invasion is still very much an open one. It does not sound like israel is totally satisfied with the killing of Hassan Nasrallah. They are continuing to attack targets with airstrikes throughout lebanon and they had, just a couple days ago, really, really implied they were about to launch a Ground Invasion into Southern Lebanon, what that would look like, where would go, how strong it would be, these are all open questions and whether or not they would continue to do it, we dont know. We also dont know hezbollahs reaction, this group, this formidable force, whether it will sit back and lick its wounds for a moment or if it would push them to some sort of negotiations with israel to come to a peace deal, the kind offered up by many western powers the last couple of days. That could happen, especially since this group has been effectively decapitated and many of its military capabilities have been set back. The fact is, we know hezbollah has a lot of very powerful weapons they have kept in reserve so far, tactical missiles could be used to strike even deeper into israel. The Israelis Have, in great effect, swatted down some of the most sophistic weapons in their defense systems. They were to try to deploy them now, the israelis would not only be able to shoot them down but locate where they are located and strike them down, as well. These are a lot of open questions. Just in the last hour we got confirmation from hezbollah the Hassan Nasrallah had been killed. We dont know what will happen. This is incredibly, it is hard to overstate, an incredibly volatile moment for this very volatile region. Matt, before we let you go, you just spoke to the escalating tensions, the latest escalation in the region. What does this mean for that 21 Day Ceasefire Deal the united states and our allies put on the table. This was a Ceasefire Deal calling for 21 days of no fighting along the Israel Lebanon Border and this would potentially allow residents who have been displaced who live along the border with israel, to return to the area. Does this mean this is essentially off the table for now . Reporter well, we dont really know. The fact of the matter the israelis torpedoed that offer. It sounded like Matt Netanyahu had agreed to it and the following morning his right wing political allies who basically make up his right Wing Cabinet said they would withdraw their support for the cabinet, withdraw their participation and all but collapsed the entire government if he would agree to that deal. It is still the israelis are holding out. It is the israelis who will determine the fate of that 21 day ceasefire. We still have to hear from them. The killing of Hassan Nasrallah, you know, it sounds as if hezbollah would have been on board before this happened. That would have been an opportunity for them, a moment for them to stop and possibly even rearm. Now that opportunity could be lost because israeli said they would not agree to a 21 Day Ceasefire Deal, even though it was blocked the last several weeks. What we have here on out, it is hard to see what the israelis will decide. If they are not attacking, they are continuing to attack, even though they got the main target, Hassan Nasrallah, who for more than 30 years led this area. Msnbcs Matt Bradley live in beirut. Thank you. Joining us now is aaron david miller, senior fellow at the carnegie endowment. For those just waking up to the news, what does this development mean for the region at large and specifically how does this inform a ron irans posture . I hate the words game changer. It is certainly not about transformation, it is usually about small and transactions, which could lead to important and significant developments. Right now for any number of reasons, we are really on the cusp with two broad choices. Those choices depend on three things. From Number One, how and in what way will hezbollah respond . Yes, Hassan Nasrallah is dead, yes, the Israelis Have destroyed their medications that killed hundreds of fighters, including senior commanders. They are on the verge of sitting back there weapons and placements in and around beirut. The hezbollah organization represents an idea. Is still as agency. The bigger question is how they will respond. Second, what is irans calculation . Are they not prepared to understand that Hassan Nasrallah put the entire Resistance ProjectIn The Dark by tethering himself to a Cease FireIn Gaza and supporting that and third, the israeli calculation. Is this an effort by the israelis to use force in order to get a diplomatic settlement or is this more of an open campaign to find a way to permanently destroy most of hezbollahs assets in lebanon, which would mean clearly a full Scale War so none of these things are decided right now. Nonetheless, on one hand, you have prospects of a diplomatic pathway. If the answers to these questions go in one direction, on the other, you have the real potential, something the Middle East has never, ever experienced before, which is a multifront war, which would start with a massive escalation between Israel And Hezbollah in lebanon. You have pro iranian strikes, american targets and forces in iraq and syria, the houthis would step up attacks and eventually you end up with a direct israeli confrontation which could draw in, easily draw in the united states. That is where we are. I wish i could make a prediction about where we are going but there is simply too much uncertainty at this moment, symone. This week the u. N. General assembly took place here in new York City. Prime Minister Netanyahu, israel, gave just a very fiery, somewhat, some have described it as a hawkish speech. I want to play for you what he had to say specifically about hezbollah and the israelis actions. Listen. I said to the people of lebanon this week, get out of the deathtrap that has seen hezbollah put you in. Dont let Lebanon Drag you into the abyss. We are not at war with you. We are at war with hezbollah, which hijacked your country and threatens to destroy ours. As long as hezbollah chooses the path of war, israel has no Choice And Israel has every right to remove this threat and return our citizens to their homes safely. Prime Minister Netanyahu believes israel has no choice here. What does that mean for the potential of people for the 21 Day Ceasefire Deal, the potential for the escalation to be taken down a notch . Because this does seem like a very precarious moment for the region. Look, i think the israelis, led by the idf and their teams, in concurrence of the prime minister, concluded that hamas is an organized Military ForceIn Gaza. The israelis are not fighting a two front war, it is a one front war. It is with the idf and the strategic challenge of trying to figure out a way not just to return their citizens to the border but to create a situation where Southern Lebanon is essentially free of Hezbollahs Ground forces, which could easily encroach across the border and its missiles. That will require, in The End, a diplomatic pathway out of here. There is no way in three weeks, symone, that any israeli resident will be able to return to northern israel. We are talking here about a semipermanent sort of arrangement in which u. N. Security counselors, which was not implemented after the last Israelihezbollah War in 2006, would simply hezbollah compel them to go north and bring the lebanese armed forces, a multinational armed force would be solidified in an effort to monitor that area. We are so far away from that, the key to watch now, i really believe, is how hezbollah will process this. How will they respond with their precision guided missions, which could reach populated centers and destroy key pieces of israeli infrastructure, including the Electricity Grid and water plants, or under irans urging is hezbollah going to step back and consider seriously the prospects of a diplomatic pathway . We simply Cant Answer that question. Israeli policy, presumably american policy, will depend on the answer to that specific question. We simply dont know yet. Aaron david miller, thank you so much for your insights this morning. Next we turn to domestic Breaking News for the campaign trail. New details from team harris about their plans after this weeks bp debate. Quentin fulks will join us after the break to discuss. This is The Weekend on msnbc. Bc. By the way . Vice President Governor Walz and vance will have their debate in pennsylvania. Just yesterday a harris visited a Border Town in arizona to address what she called the nations broken Immigration System. Joining us now is the principal Deputy Campaign Manager quentin fulks. A lot to get to today. I appreciate the campaign is blasting ford ahead after the Vp Debate but i want to ask you about that. How is Governor Walz preparing for it and how is the campaign defining success for this debate . Look, first well, good morning, thank you for having me. We know that Jd Vance is a skilled debater. He has been preparing for this. He has the pressure of trying to make up for Donald Trumps disastrous debate performance. Governor waltz does not. What you will see is a contrast between a skilled politician, slick talker, somebody who openly admits he is willing to say whatever to make the case to the american people. On the other side were Governor Waltz, a public school teacher, who knows what americans are going through, who speaks in common Sense Language about the issues, Kitchen Table issues at stake in this election and is fundamentally it will be a choice between two different visions, 100 j. D. Vance and donald Trump Agenda Project 2025 will continue to take away our rights, take away our rights and freedoms across the country, have women across the country literally die because of the nature of policy that continue to push down their throats and on the other side for Governor Walz and Vice President harris, an Agenda And Opportunity economy for everybody, not just to get by but to get ahead and continue to tackle the things impacting americans every single day and Governor Walz will make the case. I remember the last debate in a president Ial Campaign between two prudential potential Vice President s. The Vp Debate a very different. I would argue they are often times much more substantive. They are more demure, if you will. It is not about the two people usually sitting at the table, more so about the folks they represent, the Running Mate at the top of the ticket. This time i think it will be different. Jd vance is at the forefront of the most inflammatory rhetoric on the campaign trail, i am thinking particularly about the racist conspiratorial lies about haitian immigrants in springfield and across the country. How is Governor Waltz preparing to tackle that portion of the debate . Look, these Vice President ial debates are important because again, god forbid, anything happens to any candidate at the top of the ticket. These candidates have to step up. Jd vance proved how dangerous he is, how erratic and out of touch he is. It is hard to Trump Donald Trump when it comes that category of things but Jd Vance does it every time he opens his mouth. Governor waltz will continue to communicate and focus on introducing himself to the american people and talk about Vice President harriss vision for the country, putting it in Start Contrast of the plans of Donald Trump and Jd Vance but Jd Vance cant help himself. He continues to stand behind the erratic behaviors of Donald Trump at the same time trying to hide the fact before he became Donald Trumps partner he was the harshest credit. I hope on the Debate Stage he is asked about his past comments of Donald Trump ny now suddenly the Policy Positions are okay . He is even willing to go further. I think that is the approach and the conversation americans need to hear on the Debate Stage but it is an extremely important debate. American should tune in and pay attention. The contrast around immigration, we saw the Vice President at the border again just yesterday. Listen to what she said in arizona. We should not permit scapegoating. Instead of solutions. Lets see whats happening. Lets not permit scapegoating instead of solutions. Or rhetoric instead of results. As your president , i will protect the nations sovereignty, secure the Border And Work to fix the broken broken system of immigration. I will partner with democrats, republicans and independents to do it. We know what Donald Trumps vision of immigration in this country looks like, he wants to build a Wall And Support11 Million people. What we heard yesterday from the Vice President is it is possible to both secure the border, have an orderly and humane system there and embrace immigrants for the interior of the country. Dr. Daca recipients, families, keeping american families together, parole in place. Can we expect to see Governor Walz lean into the message of both, which really distinguishes this ticket from the folks on the other side. Absolutely. Obviously immigration is a topic of discussion, an important One And Something on the mind of american voters, which again, which is why Vice President harris visited the border yesterday. The point she is making, look at what is happening. Somebody is putting in the Work And Somebody is talking about it. They continued to stand in the way of progress. Vice president harris supported of bipartisan bill that wouldve been the strongest and toughest on the border and immigration in american history. Donald trump oppose that bill and told republicans to blow it off. She went there yesterday to talk about the need for more Border Agents that if Donald Trump would not have stood in the way, would already be at the border. She went there yesterday to talk about the fact we have to stop the flow of fentanyl into this country and also it is a two pronged approach, not only stopping fentanyl from coming into the country, it is also about making sure you are going to the Root Cause and going after the chinese government, who is producing the chemicals to continue to make fentanyl. She is a multipronged approach to do with this and she is the only candidate in the race that has the experience of going after cartels, transnational gangs to stop the flow of fentanyl, to stop Human Trafficking. Donald trump doubles down on dangerous rhetoric it will only keep this issue in play because he thinks its course and political points. At The End of the day, americans are dealing with this and they want Commonsense Leaders who will work across the aisle with some of the most conservative forces. That is what Vice President harris has done and would do as president of the united states. Donald trump is all talk. Quentin, before we let you go, notice, msnbc has not independently confirm this but there has been recently reported there is consternation with the Harriswalz Campaign as it results with spending on black fenders, black firms. They are reportedly, derek johnson, president of the naacp, expressed frustration on the Office Call with the manager of your campaign. Can you speak to this . These frustrations . People are saying in these articles and the strategists i talked to say there is a concern black voters are critical to the election but black vendors are not telling their story and the Record Money being spent on them. Thank you for letting me address this question. President johnson had that conversation with me directly. Look, obviously, african american voters are extremely important. There is no way we can win this election, get to 207 two and 70 electoral votes without Turning Out African American voters and persuading them. We saw them go to Vice President harris when she became the top of the ticket but that does not mean we are taking them for granted. We have been working to make sure we are putting more resources into blackowned Media Outlets so we can tell the message to black voters. We have black vendors on the campaign creating content for us to push out. Obviously, we have to do more. This is a margin of error race, tight race, a lot of is at stake. I know when i read the article myself, because it is important to me that we get it right. We have to inject resources on the ground to the communities and groups that are doing the work. The campaign has been doing that. We will continue to do more. We are pulling together a Working Group to make sure we are really doubling down to make sure we are not missing any gaps when it comes to this issue. We are proud of the work we have done to reach all the voters across this country, in particular, black voters. We want an Hbcus Tour coming up, we are partnering to do some engagements you will be hearing about later this month but we obviously have to do more. We will do more. We will fix this issue and continue to make sure we are investing in the African American Community so we can turn out every vote for us we can so it is important to not leave any stone unturned. Susan glasser writes, to the Extent Trump is proposing is my promoting policy in 2024 at all, his proposals largely evolve around the single thing, he will wave his Magic Wand and make problems go away. Kamala harris has a 82 page economic plan printed on glossy paper but not Donald Trump. Here is our panel. The new book is out now. Congratulations, friends. We have a book. You have to buy the book. The economy, feel like the economy and the border are the two big headlines of the week. Donald trump standing next to President Zelenskyy of ukraine saying he has a good relationship with vladimir putin, that was well. Vice president harris was asked at the economic club of pittsburgh this week where she gave her, you know, a very lengthy and i would argue detailed and accessible economic speech. Play the part where she talks about intergenerational wealth. I want you to be able to save up for your childs education. To take a nice vacation from time to time. I want you to be able to buy Christmas Presents for your Loved Ones without feeling anxious when youre looking at your bank statement. I want you to be able to build hope. Not just for yourself, but for your children and your grandchildren intergenerational wealth. Vice president harris, she detailed that she understands what that riff when i was listening to it, i was like, wow, a yaas. You juxtapose that with former president trump, who doesnt understand the biggest bill for most families in this country is childcare. What is going on here . Why aint he doing nothing . There if you remember the economic speech he gave in new york, when he went on a rant about something completely ridiculous. You can see everybody watching like, wow, is this guy actually standing on this podium . On the issue of intergenerational wealth, the campaign will tell you that the undecided voters care about housing. Most Peoples Wealth is tied into housing. One of the things i say is a lot of voters feel anxious about the economy because they cannot plan for the future. They Cant Plan to take a vacation. They Cant Plan a career, their Career Aspirations because of this issue of childcare. By the way, if you are a young voter, can you even via home right now . You are not renting a studio in new York City for 4000 a month. All these things that we and other generations are able to plan for, a lot of young voters , particularly today, dont have the opportunity to do that. I love what she said. It is not just about buying things but you can plan for your future and your familys future. My fear is that the Policy Details at The End wont matter. It is just going to come down to does Donald Trump make these voters feel good . Can Kamala Harris make another set of voters plus these sets of voters feel good . The policy is there but we will say. She inspires. His is driven by fear. What we just heard, the message is inspiring, it is about sociability and people understand that. If you are in your 20s or 30s, that will resonate to people. Then you saw Donald Trump yesterday with his economic rally in, wherever, what you hear . No plans, no details but you hear the same thing, the old tactic of sort of creating that economic grievance. Oneliners, the migrants are here to steal your jobs. That is what it became all about, attacking migrants. That is the difference as far as a message of fear over a message of, you know, desperation. Lets listen to Donald Trump in his own words talk about that. [ laughter ] i consider it one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen, the word tariff. I love it, i think it is beautiful. Almost as beautiful as that chart i looked to the right. Your Energy Bills will be 50, 50 lower one year from january 20th. [ applause ] one year from january 20th, okay . I only ask you to do one thing and then you can sleep beautifully all night long. You can go to a job you love and get a lot of money at The End of the week. You know what that thing is . Vote for Trump Pickup i am just curious, is the sitting about being casual or stand there . It is a choice in addition to the mad lives that are happening, as you said. I noticed that. That is interesting. He wants to be more relatable, maybe . Maybe younger . I dont know. He is 78. We are all concerned about older candidates. Its chest, it is amazing. I hear what you are saying about the absence of plans and what you are saying about inspiration but there is an indelible image of him as a businessman that is not born out of actual success but rather out of mythology from a reality television show. He has made an image of himself that has been very sticky. People lived through his economy. People lived through the aftermath of his economy and somehow we still imagine he thinks the economy is in safe are hands with him. The way you ask about the economy matters. It is this generic, who will be better for the economy . Voters will tell you generically it is Donald Trump. When you drill down into who understands what my life is like, who was looking out for me . All of a sudden you start to see an alignment between the Policy Positions, which people may not be able to say, on Page 3 of her economic policy she details that, i dont think they want to pick up i think it does tip, it is the Campaign Tipping there have hat. It is about housing which is a proxy for security in your life, it is about whether or not you can give your kid a better life than the one you had. That is where it bears out for the campaign and it is working. There i think she is making inroads. What is wild about that image is here is Donald Trump under his administration, there was a Manufacturing Recession under his watch. I think what you see from the Vice President from your point, she is personalizing the message. That is something he will never be able to do. He cant cut through his lies. He cant give a message. That is what people think. She is making a personal. They are trolling her for having worked at mcdonalds. It shows a lack of understanding of The Americans who had workingclass jobs. She said she was a student, she wasnt raising a family on that celery. That is an important distinction. We were on the set together and i told you in jamaica my father worked at mcdonalds. Her story and her ability to shine a light on the story for americans does get that buyin but that is not really Donald Trumps strategy. Donald trumps strategy, think about the fact he is selling watches and images of himself like superman. He is selling images of himself with praying hands. That is really important here because what he is doing is he is saying to a certain population of this country that you, all of your faults will be absolved and your path to feeling better is through me. By the way, you have to pay me to do that. That is the secret to his success historically. It is not, i am going to make your life better, it is that i am the person that is standing between you and your situation and your quote, Unquote Salvation but you have to pay me money first. You are a good televangelist. Play on. We were talking about that during the break, we want to discuss the Vice President s trip to the u. S. Mexico border. You can see it everywhere a social media. As president , i will only bring back the Border Security Bill that Donald Trump tank and i will do more to secure the border. To reduce illegal border crossings, i will take further action to keep the border closed between ports of entry. That was Vice PresidentKamala Harris in her first visit to the border since becoming democratic nominee. In douglas, arizona, harris called for tighter Security Measures at the border and tougher penalties for those who cross illegally. The latest Nbc News Poll shows trump favored by 21 Point Sign and that is for controlling immigration. Clearly, they felt they needed to acknowledge that he is trying to make this the centerpiece of his campaign. They had to inoculate that attack. I was pleased to see her do something more, which is to say we can secure the border and we can talk about folks already here and we can be realistic about the fact you need some legal pathways into this country to become citizens and you want less people to show up at the u. S. Mexico border. It is so hard to do that. It is extremely hard to to find the balance between Toughness And Softness and security and compassion. It was effective in the sense that it sort of crystallized the image he wants people to have in their brains, giving it to someone who will be tough and can take on the cartels, like she did as a prosecutor, somebody that will pass the border bill. I always say, according to amnesty, they said it was one of the most aggressive and extreme. Progressives were not happy with this bill. In that sense, she did that job. After i heard her, i was wondering, if you are the average american voter, part of 50 of voters who believe there is that ambition at the southern border, that is not enough at how can you get to that . You cant. That is my argument. My argument is those folks are gone. So then she is just talking to a much smaller group of people who can still be persuaded. The other question we had, if you are the Latino Voter in Maricopa County that drove by in 2020, that live in mixed status families, you want to hear her flip the script. You want her to lean first into the compassion and the dreamers and perhaps, you know, you can see some of the sinful. Unless changes to asylum seekers. Lets play what Vice President harris said about dreamers in douglas, arizona and we will get your comments on the other side, basil. I have met with so many of our dreamers throughout my career. They grew up in the united states. They were educated here. They pay taxes here. They serve in the military. They contribute to communities every day. They are american in every way. But still they do not have an earned pathway to citizenship. So as president , i will put politics aside to fix the Immigration System and find solutions, solutions to problems which have persisted for far too long. In my opinion, dreamers are americans in every sense which way except on paper. And to paolas point, if you live in a mixed status family, you would like to hear that. I am struck by the fact in speech after speech after speech, whether we are talking about immigration, the economy, the Vice President keeps saying i will put politics aside. It is not about ideology for me, it is about the issues. First of all, i taught a lot and to your point, earlier, alicia, it is about trying to find a path to be documented and contribute. They want to contribute. Folks want to contribute. They want to feel like they are part of the country. They did everything they can to contribute. So yes, i think she is hitting exactly the right tones there, just a quick point on framing. I am glad to see she also framed this conversation as, it is not just about the individuals because that is what Donald Trump is about, but she is about the people. She says there are Human Trafficking herein fentanyl that you have to stop at the border. It becomes a Border Issue rather than dehumanizing people, which is only what Donald Trump does. You know, i will say this, early on, and there are still conversations about african american men and their willingness to vote for her. Some of the conversation i heard from a lot of older african americans on this issue of immigration, are they taking our jobs . That is one of the Things Trump has firmly held and projected and pointed fingers at. That is not, if you think of Donald Trump always is having a ceiling, what he is trying to do is now subtract. Instead of adding, he is subtracting. Dont come out and vote for Kamala Harris, even if you dont like me, because democrats will just take your jobs away. It is incredibly divisive. A perfect subway, my favorite book for fall. I like the read. You delved into the hard things to talk about, anti blackness in the community, proximity to white christian nationalism. I will let that live on the pages of this incredible book. What i think has gotten lost when i hear people talk about your book, you are talking about two forces that are pulling in opposite directions. Yes, there is a small group of latinos who are lurching to the right, but there is a counterforce, as well. Of course. I think the counterforce is the alliteration of the vote we have not seen, the younger voters, the progressive voters, those who are not scared to lead into their freedoms and rights. Perhaps with more force than our parents did, you know . That is the generation that is not scared to hold the democratic accountable. That is a good thing. They want you to not core doors on a year or two before, now one month before. That is where we see that generation framed as independence. That is a good thing. The one i talk about in my book that is more depressing, that is, yes, the very for that group of latinos, when you see someone like Donald Trump that is promising massive deportations and talks about immigrants with such cruelty, the fact he can poll anywhere between 35 to 40 should be alarming. Democrats should challenge that and question that. As i say in the book, it has less to do with politics and more to do with the sort of internalized racism, the christian nationalism that seems appealing at times and the traumas. It is a coffer that we need to pay attention to. Thank you for being with us. The new book, defectors the rise of the latino far right and what it means for america is available now. We are seeing similar damages in the neighborhoods in these areas. A lot of folks have a lot of trees in their yards. I spoke to several people who have multiple issues. One couple said 15 trees fell and they are. There were in their home sheltering and they heard what sounded like a freight train. The wind started howling. As they heard the trees falling on their home, they sheltered in the hallway. They came out to survey the damage and they said they had just finished fixing the back of their home after hurricane idalia, six figures they spent on that and now they have the trees that fell here so a lot of damage. The governor will be on the ground to survey the damage and see what more can be done for these communities. Alicia, symone . Thank you.
