Not just in these rallies but the Social Media posts. The rambling of an absolute lunatic every single day. And the media does to mollys point, some media, they try to report it in a way that normalizes it. Theres no normalization of Donald Trump putting out these threads where hes threatening to jail donors. Jail people who election officials. People hes threatening mass deportations, hes threatening seize and desist, you cant seize and desist people because you dont like what theyre doing or mad at them. Its insane. And yet theres very little coverage of it. Its like, well thats just trump being trump. No. That would be fine if he were still the Reality Show Host on the apprentice. Not 10 years into it. Right. Hes running for President Of The United States again. He will have control of a nuclear code. This is a problem. And its why people are able to say, well, i might not like him but i like his policies. Well what policies are those . And you dont get to excuse the fact that hes a horrible person. And think that that separates his ability to govern. They are interconnected so stop giving people a pass for still supporting someone that is this dangerous to our country. Thats why, a republican woman was interviewed and asked why she is supporting Kamala Harris. She said because she is a normal Human Being. The woman who cried tears in pittsburgh, that woman is just, i think she represents a lot of america just saying are we going to be okay . And Kamala Harris showed empathy and compassion. Things that a normal well adjusted Human Being is capable of. Donald trump is none of those things. Do you think a Child Care question would be a simple question to answer. So, give me your thoughts on how revealing was this moment, or is it not revealing at all in the sense that his base people who are probably not die hard followers of Politics Wouldnt have watched it. Whats revealed is, he doesnt care about policy. His followers dont care about policy. You know, Something Molly and tara brought up, taras point people say i like his policies. Thats nonsense. Thats top cover for them i just like the fact that he makes people mad and he hates the people i hate. Because his policies change in so far as he has any every 30 seconds. That notion that we have to talk about trumps policies goes to mollys points. They say, i cant write this. I cant write that the republican nominee is a deeply messed up person. Im a serious person and serious persons write about policies so therefor i have to write about policies. And i have to ignore Donald Trump and i have to talk about republicans. And theyre making hay of that. You have to drill in deep on Kamala Harris policies, when they turn to Donald Trump and they say whats your policy. More is coming. Marco rubio, sharks, batteries. Two weeks. Its always two weeks. There was something buried a little deeper. That i think is pretty significant. Voters in michigan, pennsylvania and wisconsin think Kamala Harris is more mentally fit to serve than trump. Its not surprising that we see this day in and day out. Donald trump is not fit for office, mentally, physically, emotionally. Its got to hurt that this is what people think of him. Its pretty obvious when you watch him for like two minutes that hes not totally with it. But i think, look, whats really interesting about all these polls is that they show that trump has a Ceiling And Harris has a way to go. That she can actually get more voters. And she knows that, and they have a Ground Game for this very reason. Trump does not have a Ground Game. Theyre going to try to intimidate people. And maybe sue about results. But harris actually has a real Ground Game. You saw after the debate, the four, you know the Vice President , the president and their spouses are going on a Bus Tour of all the Swing States. So remember, and harris has opened the map in georgia and north carolina. So one of the great things about having a 59yearold Candidate who doesnt play golf and live in you know at her country club, is that she can now go and spend the next, which she must do, the next 58, 59 days on a bus, going to every single Swing State again and again and again. And letting people know her. Because shes quite good when she campaigns. And thats what she needs to do. And i think the Vice President i think her Vice President ial candidate tim walz. You have candidate that can actually campaign. The debate that Donald Trump had against biden. People forget how bad Donald Trumps performance was because everybody was focused on joe biden. Donald trump lied his way completely incoherent throughout the entire debate. Hes not going to have that going up against Kamala Harris. A disciplined former prosecutor whos 20 years younger than him. Thats why hes sitting the opposition so low. He knows hes going to lose. He doesnt have the mental agility that Kamala Harris has. Hes about to get cross examined for the first time in front of the american people in a way that he has never faced before. Shes literally a prosecutor. Against a felon.
