It would disrupt all sorts of Government Services and millions of federal employees, both a civilian and military, will not get paid. And everyone, basically unanimously understands that efficient than happens, which looks likely, it will be entirely the fault of House Republicans. You dont have to take my word for it. Listen to none other than Senate Republican leader Mitch Mcconnell who says that his house is doing their job. So the senate and the house are quite different, as you know. I think in the senate, we will continue to try to reach an agreement on a bipartisan basis and hopefully keep the government open. And i gotta say, somehow, it was even more of a disaster than i expected. Theyre willing to shut down the government of the United States simply because donald trump thinks that will shut down his criminal prosecutions, even though in the last republican shutdown, criminal cases went forward and the federal district, which is what i am trying to explain to them. But Donald Trumps camp insufficient on the government, he will be able to delay his cases and then maybe get to the election without having to face a jury of his peers. If he can just flip 7 Million People who voted for joe biden over to donald trump and get millions of young people who Hate Everything he stands for the vote for him, then hell be back in office and a grant himself all the insurrectionists a pardon. In other words, it would align most of the House Republicans with the Senate Republicans, the senate democrats, all of the House Democrats and the president of the United States, but he wont do it because they are threatening to, quote, vacate the chair, which means to topple Kevin Mccarthy. So it means more to him to stay into office then to keep the United States going. If i were Kevin Mccarthy, if he is watching msnbc right now, go ahead and do the right thing, put it on the floor, let us all vote on it, and if they tried to topple your speakership, see who they got against you. Just to be clear, there is already a continuing resolution that keeps the government funding, has aid for ukraine and disaster relief, has bipartisan support of the senate, that language exists. Bring it over from one side of the capitol to the other, call a vote on it for florida, pass with 350 votes, probably, somewhere in the maybe even 400, and then you are done. And then if they come for you, they can come for you, but he does not want that. Look what they did in the rules committee this afternoon, while we were in the socalled Impeachment Hearing.
