up along with the full force of government to make critical investments into communities that have long been starved. whether it's the former president, trump, igniting his insurrection and an attack of chicago. we have a deputy mayor devoted to community safety. and again, we have so many individuals around this city, quite frankly around the country, that continue to ask the most dynamic question. what can we do to help? that is what it's going to, take reverend al, in order for us to build a better, stronger, safer america. we need to bring people together. not subject ourselves to the type of visceral hatred that has been promulgated against black folks, asians, our jewish brothers and sisters, the lgbtq+ community. all these different groups that have suffered under tyranny and suffered under disinvestment and hatred that the city of chicago is very much committed to transformation. i'm grateful to be in a position where, one, again, full force of government to deal with community safety. number two, there is a major piece of legislation called treatment, not trauma. it's going to provide mental health professionals to shop the crises where mental health professionals are needed. three, we are also making sure we raise new revenue, bring chicago home to deal with the unhoused crisis here in the city of chicago that is affecting the entire country. these last 112
