From nbc News World Headquarters in New York, im joshua johnson. Welcome one last time to the week. Lets begin with a bit of optimism among democrats in their push for Voting Rights legislation. Senate democrats are close to an agreement for a new version of the for the people act. One that all 50 democrats would support. Thats according to three democratic aides familiar with the negotiations. West virginia democratic senator Joe Manchin has been part of the negotiations. He made the rounds on the sunday shows today. Lisa murkowski has been working with me. We have been talking to quite a few different republicans who are interested in doing something that makes sense. Remember, the democrats would need the support of ten republicans to override a possible filibuster. If republicans do block the bill, its unclear whether Senator Manchin would change his opposition to Filibuster Reform. Meanwhile, the democrats 3. 5 trillion Infrastructure Plan remains stuck in a standoff. It faces a deadline of september 27th. Democrats hope to pass it through a process known as reconciliation. That would only require a simple majority, but not all democrats are onboard. This morning, Senator Manchin was asked whether Majority Leader Chuck schumer would have his support for this bill. He will not have my vote on 3. 5 trillion, and chuck knows this. Whats the urgency we have . Its not the same urgency we have with the american rescue plan. The prospect of that drew this response from senator bernie sanders. Well, i think maybe the converse is true, that maybe Senator Manchin is holding the reconciliation bill hostage. Lets break down all of this with Carlos Curbelo, a former republican congressman from florida and an msnbc political analyst. And elena beverly, a democratic strategist and former national Deputy Director of africanamerican outreach for the Obama 2008 campaign. Good to see you both. Congressman, let me start with you. Whats your sense of whether or not this could actually happen, particularly if Senator Manchins hopes for republican support hold out and there are possibly ten republicans who would prevent this from being blocked . How does it look to you right now . Well, joshua, this is a big task for Joe Manchin. For months hes been telling people he can get republicans, that the senate should work on consensus, trying to build consensus with republicans, at least moderate republicans. Now he really has to deliver because it does seem that Senator Schumer and other democratic leaders have given him an opportunity to shape this legislation. So the pressure is now on for Senator Manchin to come up with these ten republicans that allegedly are going to vote for this legislation. By the way, the test is also for a lot of those Swing State republicans. How far are they willing to go . Are they actually willing to compromise . I think its going to be close. But given all the time and effort put into this, i think Senator Manchin has a shot at getting those ten republicans. Assume this whole Negotiating Process would not have gotten to this point if they had not considered the possibility of a filibuster. I would presume democrats have some plan to either, a, create a Bill Everyone can live with, or b, plan for a filibuster and see that it still becomes law. Well, there are a lot of presumptions there. Look, joshua, im always so excited about the idea of Joe Manchin in the mythical republican voters who are going to vote for Voting Rights reform. We dont really know what would be in a compromise bill, but we know that Joe Manchin issued his manifesto, if you will, in june about what he would like to see in a bill. And there were some bright spots in that bill and there were also some Pain Points in the bill. What were searching for in this compromise is probably going to be something that includes, for example, requiring voter i. D. And reenforcing some really draconian Voter Purge processes. There are some benefits to what might be in the compromise. So for example, we might eliminate partisan gerrymandering and we might insure that there are 15 days early voting for federal elections. But at the end of the day, as you mentioned, 60 is really the Magic Number because it is unlikely that were going to get enough republicans to enough people to overcome a filibuster, and this is where if we dont get those mythical republicans who are going to vote for Voting Rights reform, this is where president Joe Biden comes into play and starts to act to apply pressure to insure that we get Filibuster Reform. So can i ask a dumb question before we move on and Talk Infrastructure . If the ten republicans, these mythical ten republicans, as we put it, are really the issue, why are democrats even fooling around with Joe Manchin . He doesnt seem to be the point. He seems to be less material to this whole process than the republicans who might block it. Im not sure i understand the logic of the way this is being done. Well, joshua, i think what a lot of senate democrats or at least some are trusting Joe Manchin to do is bring along the republicans. There was already one exercise in the senate. The infrastructure bill, where Senator Sinema was trusted to keep that block of bipartisan senators together. It worked for her. Now Joe Manchin is in the spotlight. Is it going to work for him or not . His democratic colleagues are trusting him and maybe they can get something meaningful across the Finish Line, but he has to deliver the votes because he has singlehandedly put the brakes on this whole thing. Elena, what does this tell you in terms of where this stands . I know were not entirely clear where the ten votes are going to come from, but how are they balancing their energy. If theyre crossing their fingers Joe Manchin is going to get them over the Finish Line with ten republicans, that doesnt sound good. As a democrat myself, im not into crossing my fingers to am sure there are Voting Rights protections. This is the time now that president Joe Biden picks up the phone, as reported in Rolling Stone today, that he picks up the phone and applies pressure, and he recognizes that his constituents, the africanamerican community, africanamerican voters, particularly africanamerican women, stood up for him and ushered him forward to the White House, and now its his time to stand up for Voting Access and voting protections. And that means doing everything that he can to unfortunately focus on Joe Manchin and change his mind. It is time to end the filibuster in order to get critical protections for the right to vote. Lets Talk Infrastructure, congressman. I would like your reaction to something that Senator Manchin said in his interview with Chuck Todd on Meet The Press this morning. Watch. Were having a oneway negotiation. Look, youre in the captains seat. Youre the 50th vote, but dont you i have been giving. Are you going to be the lone vote against President Biden . I dont think i am the lone vote. I think you know that, too. Right, but would you be willing to be the lone vote . I have said this F I Cant go home and explain it, I Cant vote for it. You cant explain it . Congressman, how do you see Joe Manchins position on infrastructure here . His answers with chuck this morning were super vague. I got to admit. He danced around a lot of the questions except for a handful. So where do you see him sitting on infrastructure right now . Well, joshua, as chuck told him, he is in the drivers seat. He is the most powerful senator right now. Thats one of the reasons, by the way, that he is not motivated to work on Filibuster Reform, because if the Filibuster Reform goes away, that really does somewhat diminish the power of Joe Manchin and other centrists, but i think what youre going to see is Joe Manchin demand a number closer to 1. 5 trillion or 2 trillion, and democrats in the senate are going to have to decide if thats enough, if theyre willing to take that or if they want to hold out and keep applying pressure. Of course, the later it gets into the cycle, the more difficult it is to get done, especially if Swing State senators start to get worried and representatives about their races. So this is a race against the clock. Joe manchin is in control. I think hes going to come in somewhere between 1. 5 trillion and 2 trillion. And elena, my assessment is not fair. I dont think he was vague in everything. He was specific on some things including the climate Change Aspect of the legislation and whats been done in West Virginia as he explained it to reduce the States Dependence on Coal And Shift more to Natural Gas and renewables. That may be the approach that would work for democrats in terms of winning over his support. Congressman Jim Clyburn was on msnbc this morning and intimated maybe a more West Virginia centric approach would be more effective with the senator from West Virginia. Watch. What are we doing about those institutions . What are we doing about the medicaid recipients or the lack thereof in West Virginia . These are the things i think if you focus on them, that is what will appeal to manchin. Not just arguing him about the number. But focusing on the people in West Virginia that will benefit from the programs. And lets put the programs in place and apply the budget later. That is what i think is going to be required. Getting him to understand, yes, were going to take care of medicare, but medicaid is impossible. Its possible for us also. Elena, briefly before we go, what do you make of that approach . Didnt sound like Joe Manchin was opposed to the programs. He was just, as he put it to Chuck Todd, concerned about how we would pay for them. Look, i think it is a Sound Strategy to focus on how these critical reforms and shoring up the social Safety Net through budget reconciliation, how it serves his constituents, how having universal prek and making sure that medicare is shored up, and closing serious loopholes, how it affects his constituents. Thats important, but honestly from a zoom out larger strategy as we play all of these critical debates out, we need to vote going forward to make sure that we are not held hostage after the midterms to folks like Joe Manchin. Former congressman Carlos Curbelo and elena beverly, good to have you both with us. Still to come, u. S. Capitol police are on alert this week with another Protrump Rally on the horizon. Members of Congress And Law enforcement are reportedly concerned about possible Security Threats this saturday. Hundreds of people are expected at the capitol for an event called justice for January 6th. Its a rally in support of the nearly 600 people charged in relation to the insurrection. Among them are members of far right extremist groups including the proud boys and the oath keepers. U. S. Capitol police are denying reports that deadly force has been specifically authorized ahead of the rally. Again, they are denying that. But domestic extremism was on the mind of former president george w. Bush yesterday. He spoke in shanksville, pennsylvania, at the 9 11 memorial to united flight 93. The former president compared the people who hijacked that flight to americas homegrown hatred. We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders but from violence that gathers within. So much of our politics has become a naked appeal to anger, fear, and resentment. That leaves us worried about our nation and our future together. This morning, republican Governor Asa Hutchinson of arkansas reacted to that message. I thought those were words of wisdom. He went on to say that he didnt have any perfect solution. And thats a challenge we face. I think we all have to look in our heart and say, what more can we do, even coming on this show today, i hesitate to criticize our president , but necessary on principle, but we have got to think of ways that we can diminish harsh rhetoric, bring people more together. Im glad he raised that issue and i hope we can be more effective at it. Joining us are Michael Balboni and andrew carr, chief of staff for President Bush and an msnbc political analyst. You may regard that on 9 11, mr. Carr was the first to inform the president that america was under attack. Gentlemen, glad to have you both with us. Mr. Balboni, let me start with you and your thoughts on the potential threat this weekend, this saturday. Not asking you to forecast the future, but based on what we seep from these groups thus far and on January 6th, what are you expecting from saturday . So theres no evidence that says theres going be the violence that certainly was back in december. But it raises a big issue of what is the difference between this and the threat that was originally addressed by the Bush Administration . And what has changed since then . I think the major component that has changed since then is social media. That right now, we have the ability to microtarget the information to individuals of like minds and therefore get people into that motion where they could possibly bring together a very dangerous situation. But that doesnt lessen the reality that the terrorism from afar, if its radicalized in the united states, is still a major issue. One of the things that strikes me is if you get warning ahead of time that people are going to have a protest, that is one set of challenges. Whereas if someone goes and plants a bomb or takes a truck and drives into a crowd spontaneously almost, well, thats a much different threat. A much more difficult thing to try to prevent against. And of course, people are still concerned about whether or not a 9 11style Attack with that type of impact could still happen to the united states. Mr. Card, whats your sense of where we stand now, particularly in light of what President Bush said yesterday in shanksville . Im sure i wonder, i should say i wonder if back in 2001 when we were contemplating the department of homeland security, if we really thought that much about the threats to the homeland coming from within rather than from without . I dont think this is the kind of message that President Bush from 20 years ago would have thought that he might have had to give. He was actually concerned about making sure that america would be defended, even before the attacks on 9 11, he had tasked the Vice President , dick cheney, going all the way back to the first weeks of the administration, to see what the Defense Department should be doing about protecting the continental united states. Our country, most of the work that was being done at the pentagon at the time was worried about protecting americas interests around the world. So there was some sense of, you know, have to pay attention to problems that could emerge inside the country. And it turns out the Terrorist Attacks on september 11th, 2001, every one of the pilots of those planes that were used as Weapons Of Mass Destruction got on those planes in the united states. So we actually started quite early after 9 11 on working to, number one, create a department of homeland security, which was not that easy to do. It was a big challenge. And it was also hard for existing bureaucracies to give up some of their responsibility and then merge with other entities. I remember the coast guard, for example, which is a phenomenal organization, they were under the department of transportation, and they got moved to homeland security. Tsa was created, first at the department of transportation, then moved over to homeland security. So we have learned a lot. One of the biggest things we learned is there a silos in almost every bureaucracy, and many silos prevented us getting the information that would help us prevent future attacks and wasnt being shared. Thats still a problem today. Nowhere near as big of a problem as it was prior to 9 11. Im sure michael would agree its still a challenge to get the various bureaucracies that have responsibility to share concerns across bureaucratic boundaries. And that goes for the federal government to State Government to local government. And i see as well as what mike said in terms of going after social media. Right. And i do see how that is a challenge. Mr. Balboni, i think one of the other challenges we have run into is just talking more openly about the nature of Law Enforcement. U. S. Capitol police have said that they have recommended officers for discipline in six matters related to the January 6th insurrection. We dont know all the precise details, but they include three recommendations of conduct unbecoming, i think one of the things we have had a very different conversation about now than we did 20 years ago is about our relationship to Law Enforcement, including the existence of extremism within the ranks of people who wear uniforms. How much of this is just a challenge in the way that we conceive of and enact Law Enforcement in fighting domestic terror . You know, after 9 11 attacks, the mission of security really changed. It was no longer, like, particularly from the fbis perspective, it was no longer okay to have something happen and go and investigate it. People expected the individuals, the institutions to stop the attacks before they happened. And that was through the Intelligence Gathering and sharing. Obviously, from agencies like the cia and the fbi overseas. But now, when you take this look now in the domestic realm, the question now becomes, what is a crime, what is a Terrorist Act . What is a right of free speech, and it gets incredibly complicated. But the heart of all of this information is information. How do we share that . What is actionable . How do we operationalize it . This has always been a huge challenge, as mr. Card said, when you go from the federal government to state and local governments. Thats what around is really looking for. Tell me what, where, and when, and how to respond, and lets get a collective response together. I know where have to let you two go, but mr. Card, i couldnt help when i heard the president s words yesterday, thinking yeah, i totally get what youre saying. I also couldnt help thinking about the 2004 campaign, and i remember as a gay man how much some of the Campaign Rhetoric dealt with conservative Red Meat issues including at the time the specter of possibly Samesex Marriage and that political Energy Led to the passage of things like Proposition 8 in california, Amendment 1 in florida, and others. What is your sense, mr. Card, before i have to let you all go, of how sincerely our political sphere is actually taking this idea of toning down the rhetoric . Im not convinced on either side of the aisle that were really willing to do that yet especially when votes are at stake and donations are at stake. I dont think either side has done much to demonstrate, well, the way i put it, the rug of American Politic Whz i got involved in politics which was a long time ago. Im 74 years old. The rug of American Politics had more rug than fringe. Today, it has more fringe than rug. And you really cant govern unless you give permission to stand on the rug. And the left and the right, the far left and the far right, dont do a good job of recognizing theres probably a lot more Common Ground than either side wants to acknowledge, and they should give permission to stand on that Common Ground and build from there. So i dont like the tribalism in America Today on the left or the right. And i think they both contribute to the challenges of rhetoric that is hyperbolic and designed to motivate. Part of the political process is also generating passion. You want people to be passionate about showing up to vote. Right. You want them to be passionate about sending in their money to support a candidate or a cause, so theres a lot of hyperbole and its exacerbated because of social media. The hyperbole is certainly different on the left and right, not to equate the two. Theres more than enough to go around. Thank you both very much. Governor Gavin Newsom is bringing out heavy hitters. President biden plans to campaign in California Tomorrow. Scott cohn has the latest from san francisco. Hey, scott. Joshua, with about 48 hours to go before the polls close, the numbers are increasingly breaking in Governor Newsoms favor. Not so much, though, that the Newsom Campaign is telling the White House that the president doesnt need to come to California Tomorrow to campaign. That appearance is still on. But the latest numbers, again, encouraging for the governor. The latest poll by the l. A. Times and Uc Berkeley showing now more than 60 of likely voters oppose the recall of Governor Newsom. Remember, the worry for democrats going into this was that the republicans would make up their disadvantage in terms of numbers with their enthusiasm about ousting Governor Newsom. The democrats in the meantime were not so enthused, leaving them at the losing end of a socalled enthusiasm gap. In the end, it doesnt look like thats happening. Independents are turning out at a lower clip than both republicans or democrats. And democrats are outpacing republicans, you know, 2 to 1 in overall turnout. And then by a few percentage points, as a percentage of the number of people in the party in the state. So you just have what seems to be more democrat enthusiasm. Paul westcott of the nonpartisan Analysis Firm has been looking at the returns from mailin ballot. Every registered voter in california got a mailin ballot. Theyre showing that roughly 2 to 1, democrats outnumber republicans. Of course, many republicans will turn out in person in the days leading up to the election and on Election Day itself. As the republicans, meanwhile, are not giving up just yet. Larry elder, the Radio Talk Show host, is the leading candidate among the republicans, taking a page from the Trump Playbook and talking about socalled shenanigans. Voter irregularities and saying he has lawyers at the ready to look at potential voter fraud. But the dynamic is now such that every time elder speaks, it gives Governor Newsom something more to run against. Just an extension of the Big Lie and the steal, stop the steal. Its a remarkable thing. Were four days out, hasnt even Election Hasnt even happened and now theyre feigning election fraud. If this dynamic holds, it becomes a game of managing expectations for the next regular election for the governor is next november. Polls here in California Close on tuesday at 11 00 p. M. Eastern time, 8 00 p. M. Local time. Joshua. Thank you, scott. That was nbcs Scott Cohn reporting from san francisco. The effort to recall Governor Newsom officially started last february, before the pandemic shutdowns. It gained steam after the governor was caught dining without a mask at an exclusive restaurant in napa valley. He appeared to be flouting the very covid restrictions he had imposed on californians. But depending on who you ask, the pandemic is hardly the only force at play here. Jean guerrero wrote in the Los Angeles times although the recall was made possible by many things, quote, at its root is a desire to redefine california and preserve the delusion of white supremacy. Jean guerrero is the author of hot monger, stephen miller, donald trump, and the white nationalist agenda, and she joins us now. Glad to have you with us. I would thiek get to another excerpt from what you wrote in the l. A. Times. You wrote, quote, newsoms Pro Latino Approach is precisely the reason republicans launched the recall in the first place. Unquote. Give us an example, if you would, to substantiate that. Why is that such a strong reason for republicans to try to recall him early . Well, its so important to emphasize that this election started with antiimmigrant nativists. An example is orrin heatley, a retired Sheriffs Sergeant who at one point had posted on facebook that he believes immigrants should be microchipped and tracked and compared them specifically to animals. He was one of the lead proponents, one of the first proponents of the Recall Election and was joined later on by other people who were angry about newsoms Pro Immigrant and pro latino policies that he had been putting into place, particularly when he extended Health Care or Health Insurance to undocumented seniors. That upset a lot of the nativists who make up a minority of californians. But who have very powerful allies on Fox News and other rightwing Media Outlets which at that time in early 2019 launched an anticalifornia, antiNewsom Campaign that has been ongoing for months, and only gained steam after republicans were able to use images of newsom in this restaurant to paint him as an elitist who doesnt care about communities of color when in fact when it comes to policies, when it comes to what he has been doing as governor of californi, that couldnt be farther from the truth. How much do you balance this nativist rhetoric with other reasons that might give californians pause about keeping Governor Newsom on, even until the end of his term next year when theres just going to be another election . Hes kind of been the Heir Apparent for a long time to be the governor of california. He was the lieutenant governor, waited in the wings, became the governor, and the incident where he was photographed at the french laundry, the fancy restaurant, felt to a lot of people like a very unforced error that someone like him should have known not to do. Exactly. I mean, some people have legitimate reasons to be frustrated with newsom, and the best opportunity to express that frustration and to attempt to vote him out will be in the next legitimate democratic election. The fact of the matter is that in this election, if you vote yes on the recall, then youre essentially providing a pathway for Larry Elder to become governor of california. He absolutely represents the opposite of the values that a majority of californians have. So i think we need to emphasize that the alternative is so much worse. He is somebody who is opposed to doing anything about climate change, is opposed to any kind of Covid Masking or vaccine mandates. He doesnt respect the science. He doesnt believe in the fact of systemic racism. He has made a career as a rightwing talk show host, Maligning Black and brown communities. In fact, hes even repeatedly quoted a well known open white supremacist named Jared Taylor in his writings in order to put out statistics that cast black people as somehow more violent than white people. He was a major mentor of trumps most extreme adviser, stephen miller, as i wrote about in my book, from the time he was a teenager. Helped him feel confident expressing these nativist beliefs, and he told me himself he thinks because hes a Black Man, hes given a lot of People Confidence to express these otherwise offensive views and for them to think, well, im not a racist because a Black Man is saying these things well. We know california had another gubernatorial contest in the 90s when Gray Davis was unseated by governor schwarzenegger. This is how he views the process now. We were in a recession. I had to rub against arnold. A democratic and republican parties were more closely linked. So this is a totally different situation. I expect great credit to the Gavin Newsom campaign because they had to do two things. Awaken democrats to the fact there was an election on an unusual time, september 14th, and it was very consequential. We are almost out of time, but very briefly in the last few seconds, how do you see what governor davis said in terms of this being different from the 90s . Its true. Finally the word is getting out about how much we have to lose. California has been a leader On Immigrant Rights and racial justice and climate change. These are all issues at stake in this election, and people are waking up to that reality, and the polls are beginning to reflect that. Remember, californians, Election Day is tuesday. Two questions on the ballot, one, whether you think the governor should be recalled, yes or no, and two, if he should be recalled, who should replace him . We appreciate you making time for us. Whats the biggest difference you see between the way that covid is handled in mutune versus the way its handled in chicago, considering you have perspectives in practicing in both . Yeah, i think, you know, very similar. And similar challenges. Both are having issues right now with bed capacity, adequate nursing staffing, but i think one of the unique challenges i have learned in the last 10, 11 months where i have been out at sarah bush lincoln, is out in the rural areas we dont have the luxury that the hospitals in the Chicagoland Area do of having a whole host of specialists, for example, our hospital, we dont have a nephrologist, so Renal Failure and the need for dialysis comes out not infrequently, particularly in covid, and we dont provide that. In the past, it hasnt been an issue to call the hospital about 40 miles down the road and transfer our patients, but thats not a guarantee anymore. Everyone is struggling with beds and capacity. And we spent five days last week trying to transfer a patient, trying to find a hospital that would accept them for dialysis. We had another patient who needed urgently spent all day calling 20 hospitals in a 300 mile radius. So its a struggle. Do people in the area that youre serving now in mutune, do they seem willing to get vaccinated, hesitant to get vaccinated . And how do you deal with the hesitancy . The community about a month ago, the county overall, was about 35 vaccinated. Were getting close to around 40 now. Definitely a bit of hesitancy. A lot of misinformation. You know, were dealing with our own mandates now that the governor has mandated all Health Professionals get the vaccine. But it is frustrating. Theres our Hospital Staff probably is approaching a little over 50 . And inching higher, but theres just you know, were trying to approach people from a point of curiosity and not judgment. Trying to ask more questions as to the granular details of why they specifically arent interested in the vaccine and trying to approach people one at a time. But it is frustrating and daunting. Elaborate on that. Curiosity versus judgment. Can you give me an example of how thats played out . Yeah, i mean, its frustrating as a physician and our hospital is operating on the margins of our Comfort Zone in terms of doing all this covid, and when your own staff is struggling to get up to a high vaccination rate, it is challenging to kind of rein my own frustration in, but it doesnt do any good to approach people from that approach, tends to lead to both sides getting more entrenched, and i think just taking a one at a time, one person at a time, you know, one nurse, one Respiratory Therapist or one patient and asking them what are their misgivings . What information do they have, what are they basing decisions on . And its time consuming, which we dont have a whole lot of time, but its really the only way to make progress at this point. Do the folks where you are, where youre working, do they understand, and this is a weird question, there may not be an answer to this, but do they understand how much power they have to stop this pandemic . I mean, what they do matters to me in Mat Hatton because that will help prevent more variants and help us get our lives back. Do they understand how very powerful they are in all of this . Thats a good question. I think i think looking globally and the bigger picture, im not sure, but i think definitely locally, it is starting to resonate. As now with the delta variant, were seeing younger patients. Theyre seeing their neighbors, theyre seeing their other people in their church or the community. Theyre seeing them get gravely ill and die. And i think it is motivating a lot of them now to get vaccinated. But it is important. I mean, we need to do this locally, but we also need to work on getting everyone vaccinated globally. So im trying to do my part, and were trying to do our part in our community, and were making progress. I wish it were faster, but a day at a time right now is how we have to operate. Before i have to let you go, how are you doing . Are you okay . Are the people in the hospital working doing okay . Were tired. Its exhausting physically and emotionally, but the team that we have been working with, i mean, where we were ten months ago and now, im really, really proud of what we have done. But you know, our reserves are finite. And you know, Thats Something we take for granted, that Health Care workers are always going to be there. Theyre going to be well rested and staffed, but its not going to always be that way. But were hanging in, and were going to get through this. Doctor, i appreciate you making time for us tonight, sir, to share your story. Thank you very, very much. Thank you. Last night, we asked you what gives you courage despite americas challenges . Yesterday, we asked, what gives you courage, despite americas courages. I watched the towers grow with my sisters from her 12th floor balcony. We thought the Construction Workers were brave to be up so high. I moved to virginia when the towers were attacked. My heart sank over the fear of retaliation, and guilt of association, and Grief And Sadness over the destruction of the towers. I had to find something to held myself and others. I graduated with my masters in counseling and found my courage in a Fema Prom called community resilience project. I did outreach to all Faith Organizations and Crisis Counseling and interfaith dialogues. This worked and becoming an advocate for bridging differences with all of my many friends and owl of the Faith Organizations was and continues to be my biggest support. Very cool. I find my courage in Modern Medicine and its mother, science. Modern medicine has been my champion and hero. It saved me as a child from a rare brain infection. As an adult, it transcended me from poverty to a place in the middle class. After all, Modern Medicine has provided us the covid19 vaccine.
