In the dark of night. If the majority of people wanted this, why wouldnt you do it out in the open. These rulings are temporary. What does that mean for the Texas Abortion Law . Is there a chance that it can still be blocked . So it is temporary. It could still be blocked. It can be blocked and Texas State courts have done that as to particular providers or particular groups that might sue to enforce the law. The case now goes back to lower courts. They could decide the law is unconstitutional. It could come back if Someone sued an Abortion Provider and said you violated the law and the Abortion Provider could as the Supreme Court said in its opinion say but the law is unconstitutional. While there are limits to what we can do without perSonnel on the ground, without an airport with normal Security Procedures in place, we are working to do everything in our power to support those flights and to get them off the ground. Getting out of afghanistan is just the first step. Refugees are being sent to all corners of the globe to start new lives and are going to need help. I dont think we are trying to do everything in our power. If we are, thats a serious indictment of our status as a super power, that were not able to get people out of afghanistan, in particular, u. S. Citizens and those that did So much serving by our side in the last two decades of war. People youre trying to get out who have been waiting the last few days, are they safe . Whats going on with those Left Behind . I am not going to talk about where they are, who they are, or if theyre safe or not. The fact is people are not safe. Thats why we are trying to get them out. There has been no planning in place by the u. S. Government for this effort, in many cases the u. S. Government has been the greatest barrier. Story came out couple weeks ago that said we as a country are capable of individual heroics. Thats Something we have seen the last couple of weeks, heroism on the ground from our troops, from Civil Servants, from groups of veterans and Civil Servants stepped up to the plate, trying to network, get people out they dont want to leave behind.
