They have taken steps to protect themselves and their families. And they have a healthy fear. Part of what needs to shift is, we need to understand not only the anxiety of those who are vaccine hesitant, who are resistant, but we also have a healthy respect for everybody, first of, all but also for the lives and health of everybody else. People have a right to be protected from the unvaccinated. And we are not really talking about that. There is a serious concern for millions of americans. Doctor azar, a last word to you, and i want you to give us the abcs of this new variant. What we need to know, how or do we need to be at this variant that could evade vaccines. Remember, when a variant becomes an of variant of interest or concern, it is displaying that it is doing couple of things or one thing at all. Increased transmissibility, causing more severe illness, or evading the production from a vaccine or from natural immunity. The combination of the mutations that they are seeing in the Mu Variant is concerning for invasion of protection. But an important thing to remember is that we have not seen that yet in real life. This is something that they are just sort of studying the biology of this variant, this is what they are seeing, this is how it starts. If we start to see significantly increased transmissibility with this variant, then you have two out of the three problems happening and that becomes more of a concern. What is the likelihood though, that it could get through the senate at this . Point i think thats where a lot of folks that are in support of making this law, thats what theyre worried about. This is another reason that we should get rid of the filibuster. So we dont have to have a supermajority, to get anything important done in the senate. Thats what we ought to be pursuing, yet another reason, Voting Rights, and so many other issues, are being stunted in this stunning because of the need for the majority. That means we have to get ten republicans to vote with the democrats on these. Issues and that is not happening anytime soon. So filibustering form is once again, yes. It should be on argentina.
