A very good day to all of you from Msnbc World headquarters here in New York. Welcome, everyone, to Alex Witt reports. Heres whats happening. More than 12 Million americans are bracing to lose their Unemployment Benefits or see their weekly payments plummet as three federal Pandemic Aid programs are set to expire in just hours. It comes on the heels of a disappointing jobs report. But the White House maintains its message of recovery. The recovery is happening. We added more jobs in the first seven months than any other administration in history. The average of jobs is at 832,000 jobs we have been able to add. What this shows is its going to be a steady road to recovery. This is not going to be an overnight Recovery Process. You see the economy moving ahead. Also hearing new reaction to the harsh new Abortion Law in texas. The white House Chief of staff saying the administration is prepared to protect womens rights. We have the best lawyers at the Justice Department looking for legal remedies to protect women who are seeking to exercise their constitutional rights. We have the team at hhs looking at what means we can do to try to get women the Health Care services they need. Do you think it is possible that you can do something at a federal level . We are going to find ways. New Polling Today shows Vaccine Hesitancy has gone down during the Delta Surge with the percent of americans would are less likely to get a covid now just about half what it was in january. It also comes as president Bidens Approval Rating of has handling of the pandemic dropped ten points since june. Several msnbc correspondents join us to go beyond the headlines. We begin with Heidiist Priss Bella at the White House. What are we hearing. The president said previously he wanted all americans to be eligible for the booster shot by september 20th. But on thursday he Got Information From Reg Will Iters that they just dont have the data yet to support that alex, particularly for those moderna shots. It may not need a booster. They just dont have the data yet. And they said its possible that individuals might not even need the third shot. They are waiting for that information to come in. In the meantime, white House Chief of Staff Ron complain. We said we would be ready by the 20th which was the projection we were given by the senior science as to when the fda would clear the boosters. I want to be clear, no one is going to get boosters until the fda says they are approved, until the Cdc Advisory Committee makes a recommendation. Alex, we are expecting more information from the president on tools to combat this virus. He was hoping the boopsers would be one of those amid the Delta Surge and amid the disappointing jobs numbers, alex, with a clear relationship between jobs going down and the Delta Virus surging up. Indeed, thank you heidi. Lets go now to the Recovery Effort after Hurricane Ida and devastating blow from the Gulf Coast to the northeast. President biden will make his second trip to a Disaster Zone this week. He will be in New York and New Jersey on tuesday to survey the damage from a Tornado Outbreak and extreme flooding that killed nearly 50 people. In louisiana the power Outages Wont be fixed any time soon. One Power Provider says it could be the end of the month, more than three weeks yet before its Power Grid is completely back on line. Right now people are still without power in the New Orleans area. Josh letterman is in one of thosen centers of the devastation. La place, louisiana. Getting people back on their feet is a her cuelyian task. Josh, whats going on there. You look at the skies here, its going to start raining any second. That is really increasing the urgency of this relief effort, with so many homes with roofs that were damaged or destroyed. You drive around a place like La Place, which was so hardhit. The lucky homes are the ones that have those Blue Fema tarps already put over them. We spent the morning with one of the groups doing this important relief work. You can see them behind me. The minute Men Disaster Response group. They have been going around home to home. They have gotten more than 3,000 requests for help. But they can only do three or four homes a day, even with multiple crews working on different shifts. That just speaks to the scope of the challenge here, especially when you have a lot of residents like some of the ones we saw here today who are elderly, who cant do this work themselves, even if they wanted to. I spoke to the head of the organization. This is what he told me about why that is such a challenge. Thats why its so important. You know, even if people give supplies, money, resources, there is still it takes the manpower. It takes that individual to come in and help them with their needs and take time to talk to them and show them that there is, you know, light on the other side. The Recovery Process is going to be slow. Its going to be hard for this area. But we can make a difference. You know, one family at a time, just by getting in front of them, listening to their needs and helping them sort out their requirements. As if these folks arent facing enough already, talking about the weather, there is another tropical disturbance currently heading into the gulf of mexico. About a 30 chance it could turn into at least a tropical depression set to hit louisiana sometime next week. Even with this massive recovery underway right now, a lot of folks are bracing for potentially even more damage in the coming days. I hadnt heard that yet. You delivered tough news there. Thank you for the headsup, josh. I appreciate that. From La Place to La Fit, louisiana, Flood Waters have yet to recess now a week after ida making it difficult for residents to clean up. You have our or thor on the ground has been talking with some of the residents. What are we hearing from them . It is a community of about 1,000 here in La Fit here. There is more beyond these streets here. A great number of them rode out the storm. Now they are here a week later still trying to clean up and reconcile what their future in this neighborhood looks like. I want to introduce you if you could tell me your name, maam, if you could. Katie areas. Katie, you have lived here your whole life on this property . I have lived here 60 years on this property. My father was a shrimper. My brother was a shrimper. All my family were shrimpers. And stood here in this community. We worked hard. We built it up. I had a business of my own for 40 years here. I owned a restaurant, which i sold about four years ago. This community is devastated. Were a community of hardworking people. We are a small town. Were resilient. We stick together. Weve been through many, many storms, but it comes a time that you get older and what more can you do . I want the federal government to realize how vital this community is. Its a lot of good, hardworking people that bring seafood into the united states, probably more seafood along the Louisiana Coast than any other state. We need the government to realize how vital we are, protect us. Because when were gone its gonna be over. We need levees. We need to be elevated this. House should have been elevated years ago. I was denied elevation. For what reason . Water rose up you were telling me five feet up into your house . This time, yes. Are you guys going to stay here . I cant leave my property. There is nowhere on earth like home. Everyone knows that. But what can you do . If it wouldnt have been for my brother to say get out because it is coming up higher than you imagine, i would have drawned in that house. I will never leave this property. You guys are going to be dealing with this for a long time to come here. The weeks and the months. What do you need here in these days, these weeks, these months to come . We need the government to realize we need protection. We need levee protection. We need elevation. We can pick up the pieces. We need someone to come along and doing study after study and not doing a God Damn Thing about it after they study it. We wait too many years for them to do studies. While thats happening we are being washed away, slowly. Katie, and chris, we will be checking with you guys here along the way. We send our love to you guys, we are thinking of you, your grandkids, everybody here, alrighty . We will be checking back in. Alex, i think katies words spoke enough there. They did. Send katie a heart felt hug from me. I know shes not micd up to hear me but let her know that was powerful. More now on the coronavirus. The u. S. Hitting 40 Million cases since the start of the pandemic as the Delta Variant is sweeping across the country this Holiday Weekend. Millions already traveling over Labor Day, the cdc issuing a warning to the unvaccinated, stay home. While telling even those who are vaccinated to take the risk into consideration. And here is why. Infections, hospitalizations, and deaths rising across most of this country. And while the scale the Vaccine Booster Rollout remains uncertain, Health Officials are keeping a close eye on other variants. The Delta Variant is over 99 dominant. So when we say we are keeping an eye on the new variant, we want to make sure it doesnt become more dominant. We actually dont know what the consequences would be. The concern is that it has a few constellation of mutations that would indicate that it might evade the protection from certain antibodies. As dr. Fauci and other Health Experts are monitoring this new variant. We are also seeing emerging cases here in the u. S. L. A. County found 185 cases linked to this variant as far back as june. Meanwhile, the u. S. Is in worse shape this Labor Day compared to also year. The sevenday rolling average is up 300 over last Labor Day. Thats a time when covid vaccines werent even available. Lets go to nbcs Emily Keta who is in Los Angeles for us. This surge is concerning as we head into a long Holiday Weekend packed with events, family events, public events. What are you hearing . . Alex, i will start with this. The Holiday Weekend pushing the country across a grim milestone, 40 Million covid cases throughout this pandemic. Still, americans are kissing Summer Goodbye in a prepandemic fashion. You will find crowds across the country, Coast To coast, here in california we saw at least 16,000 People Gathering and crowding Mission Beach this the San Diego area. Moving up the Coast To the Napa Area Arc Music Festival there welcoming up to 40,000 people a day for that long weekend event. Now, fortunately, a lot of these largescale events are outdoors. Health experts say the ones you want to avoid, the riskiest situations for transmission, are in unmasked crowds inside. Alex . Got to be thinking about college football. Thats back up and running. Packed stadiums, many of which for the first time are seeing crowds since the last 18 momts or so. What are fans and Health Experts saying about that . This moment has been building for some time. A lot of Fans Havent stepped foot into their Home Stadium since 2019. They are returning in a big way. Some of the games are completely sold out. 50, 60, 70,000 people packed into a stadium here. A point of excitement for fans, also a point of concern for Health Experts. Listen here. This is the coolest thing, like seeing so many fans everywhere, and like just having how many fans everywhere is so cool. It is an awesome year, awesome team this year. It is awesome to be back. We know that when people are close together, shouting, screaming, happy, shouting for their team, they can be spreading virus. So this is a situation where you want to take as many precautions as you can so that you can enjoy the game and not take a Souvenir Home that you werent intending. Some of the stadiums offer fans a chance to get the vaccine many have no masking, Vaccine Or Testing requirements. This as we are seeing covid cases rise in 39 states, and deaths in 48. Alex . Emily eketa, thank you so much, from l. A. Heading overseas, new Today Secretary of State Ink Builden is going the meet allies from the pullout from afghanistan. He will hold high level meetings and discuss the future for refugees. Lets go to Ralph Sanchez from doha, qatar. Where is blinken going . Whats the agenda for him . He is heading first here to Doha Qatar and then on to germany. There are a couple of prongs to this trip. He is going to thank qatar and germany without whom the unprecedented Air Lift from kabul would not have been possible. He is hear to thank you whos who helped pull it off. And he is here to get those still trapped in the country out. A component of that is getting the International Airport up and running again. No Time Line yet on when that might happen. Encouraging news in the last 24 hours. The qataris are now flying daily aid flights in and out of the airport. There are domestic flights, flights within afghanistan, taking off and landing from that airport. Alex, we talked yesterday about those unbelievably brave women who took to the streets of kabul to protest and demand their rights from afghanistans new taliban rulers. We are getting more information about the violent tactics the taliban used to so press that protest. At least one woman left with a bloodied head after being hit with a Rifle Butt by a taliban fighter. I want you to listen to this woman, who took part in that process. She explains why it was so important to be there despite the risk she knew she was going to face. Take a listen. Im The Voice of the womens who never able to speak to anyone. I came outside to talk with taliban and to help womens who now go to work and go to school, and want to be The Voice of them. Now, alex, the taliban continues to insist they respect women, they will let them go to work, they will let them go to school. But just tonight we are getting unconfirmed but very disturbing reports of taliban gunmen killing and then mutilating a pregnant afghan policewoman earlier. That just left me stunned, that last detail. Bless those courageous, brave women. Disturbing story. Thank you very much. The January 6th house select committee is responding today to Minority Leader Kevin Mccarthys threats to Telecom Companies. He and other gop lawmakers warned companies that cooperate with the committee that republicans wont forget that they did so. Congressman Adam Kinzinger one of the republicans on the committee condemning those threats earlier today. Right now all weve said is we want these records preserved. There is a number of people i wont go into the details of who all is on it. Then we will decide what we need to see and whats in the american peoples interest. I think to turn around then and make ominous talk to these Telecom Companies that when we take over it is going to be different or there will be payback. Thats not frankly the republican party i remember and the republican part i ever joined. Meanwhile, Capitol Police say they are closely monitoring the September 18th rally planned. It features the proud boy asks the Oath Keepers attending that rally in d. C. Joining me now, clint watts. Clint, welcome. Lets get into this here. I am curious your reaction to the September 18th rally at the Capitol And Security threat it could pose. How do you see it . There have been many calls to do rallies around the country since January 6th. But since January 6th, most of those have fizzled out or not been met with a lot of support in the on line communities. September 18th is the first one where we are seeing seizable discussion about possibly attending. I think it is a little early to tell. Its about two weeks before these things happen that you start to see a pickup. I expect this week we will know how legitimate are their pulse to actually show up there. You are seeing congressmen like Mead Son codler talking about going to d. C. Or there will be a time when we need to go to d. C. As the calls from the political Leaders P. K. Up thats when i get more worried. There is more legitimacy to this one. I dont think it will be a January 6th Size March on capitol but i wouldnt be surprised if you have a sizable number of people showing up on the 18th. Does the Fbi Know who is organizing . Who is in a Leadership Position in terms of being involved . Do they know who is going to show up . I dont know what the Fbi Knows. But what i would say the difference between preJanuary 6th and now preseptember 18 is the fbi has an enormous number of leads and lots of suspects either in custody or people that have pled guilty, which gives them the means to actually do an investigation preemptively. I would imagine at this point they have developed a number of sources or working with people that were arrested on January 6th to identify where the threads are, who the leaders are, who the resourcing is of this and what the organizational structure is behind the scenes, if there is validity to this actually turning into another mobilization we need to worry about on the 18th. What has been interesting clint, we have heard about Extremist Groups allegedly involved in all of this, Oath Keepers, proud boys, and the like. Those kinds of groups and members does that create additional concern about the nature of this rally and the potential for violence. It does, alex. You though, when you go through the records of who was a known or who was a real perpetrator in this, what you saw on January 6th was very core group of extremists that were highly organized. Some of the folks that you are showing right there on the screen right now that led the way. They are the ones that were breaching the door. They were the ones that were making entry which brought everybody else into the chamber. Not everyone that was there was in on the lets breach the capitol. But once it was, it created a system by which everybody descended into it. I think thats why it is important to understand when you have organized elements in proud boys, organized elements in the Oath Keepers that are actually building these dates, building these plans, they can tip off what is a cascade of violence. I think thats what Woe Saw on January 6th and why we should be worried about events like the 18th. Something you just hid on, it reminded me of my conversation with my Colleague Yesterday which conducted washington, d. C. Is a Focal Point here. But he actually has concerns about potentially rallies, levels of violence that could be certainly a disruption at State Houses around this country. He thinks it could expand there. Do you share those concerns . I do, alex. I would say for as much as we hear about September 18th its focus is on State Capitals as much as the nations capitol. Also remember, for organizational purposes traveling, getting people there. Part of the reason January 6th was not bigger, it was just difficult on a middle of a Week Workday to actually get to washington, d. C. To create such an incident. That is not the state at many State Capitals where you have groups that are very organized that understand the local area and context, know where these places are, and can move very, very quickly and get there and assemble. I think we have seen that oftentimes through the black Lives Matter Protest period when you would see, you know, proud boys show up and antifa show up in response. You will see that because these are people who are from those areas and local and they can mobilize faster and, Et Cetera harder for states to defend against. Two weeks from today on September 19ther going to be back here talking with me about what happened across america on September 18th. If you will have me i will be delighted. You are invited. We will talk about it. The award winning filmmaker behind Fahrenheit 911 on the end of americas longest war, Michael Moore, is joining me after the break. George orwell once wrote, the war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be continuous. Those are warn prosecution Michael Moores 2004 documentary, Fahrenheit 911. Lets fast forward to week. U. S. Forces leaving afghanistan, ending a 20year occupation that began right after the 9 11 attacks. Here to discuss the end to americas longest war is oscar winning filmmaker Michael Moore, also host of the rumble with Michael Moore podcast. He launched a substack and will be hosting a free screening of Firn Height 911 this wednesday at Michael Moore. Com. Nice to have you back. The afghanistan war is over. How significant of a moment is this for you . How big of a mark do you think this is going the leave on president Bidens Legacy, getting us out of this war . I think history will portray him as a courageous individual who was very brave in standing up against all the cries for continuing the war. And i just im so let me show you just a Split Second of his genius. If you could put up that still photo you just had on before i came on. Uhhuh. And yes. There we go. Yes. This is the last soldier out. All right . This is general donahue. And he is coming up the ramp of the c130. There is literally no other american soldier behind him there at the airport. He is the last one out. If you are the last one out and you are what you are leaving behind is the mortal on me from the last 20 years look at him. Hes coming up the ramp with not what you do is you have to keep your back not to the enemy. You turn around and you back up the ramp with your gun pointed out because there is nobody there to protect you. Yet he knew he was safe, had his back to the taliban, and walking up that ramp. How did he know he wasnt going to get shot, wasnt going to be the last man out dying going up that ramp in hes looking forward, not turned around. The reason for that is we have a Commander In Chief right now who figured it out. He had to pivot very quickly because he did not expect the taliban to take over the country that quickly. He he had to he had to negotiate, he had his Team Negotiating with the taliban to make sure 124,000 people could get out safely so that not one of those planes would be shot down out of the air, and he had to make sure that the very last soldier, general donahue, could walk up that ramp safely, without having to turn around to see if he was going to be shot by the taliban. Who did that . Commander in chief Joe Biden did that. He and his team negotiated with people that i would think would be extremely hard to negotiate with to make sure that the taliban would not kill any of our soldiers, and so that every plane could get up and in the air safely. Its an amazing accomplishment. I cant believe that this happened. Granted, you cant always plan for the Rogue Terrorist Attack like they had with isis there almost a couple of weeks ago. But he negotiated with the evil taliban tic take the quote marks away. They actually are really bad guys. He negotiated to not kill a single one of our soldiers, to allow everyone to leave, including afghan citizens to leave and not fire a single Stinger Or Missile or rocket at one of those planes. I have to say that is the most amazing thing. We are so lucky to have a competent and caring Commander In Chief. And that is how he will be remembered for this. You know, thinking about that, i mean, its a very thoughtful, sage observation, all encompassed in that photo. But you make very good points there. You are 100 right, michael. But then, how do you square that with the chaos, the tragedy of that Isisk Attack . Those are pictures i mean, you are a filmmaker. You are all about the visual and mirroring that with certain context. How do you square that as being part of the legacy of this withdrawal which you know some are calling chaotic . Well, they want to call it that because they dont want to give this Man Credit for getting 124,000 people out with their lives without a single plane being shot down. And not a single soldier of ours killed by the taliban. I mean, look, terrorism has been with us for a long time. It will be with us for a long time after this. And a lot of times, you dont think its going to happen. I dont think the Capital Police thought January 6th was going to happen. I dont blame them for that. Sometimes things get chaotic and out of control. Thats what happens. I read this headline today, the Honey Moon is over and Joe Biden knows it and i thought, what are you talking about . First of all, its not over. So many americans are so pleased with the fact that what he has done in terms of Helping People Who are out of work, Helping People Who dont have food in just these few short months he has cut Child Poverty in half. He has increased the Food Stamp Program by an amount not since 1962. He has taken millions off the hunger rolls. I mean you look at everything that this man has done in such a short period of time with the mess that he inherited. Its stunning to me and i speak as lifetime supporter of bernie sanders. So im not i didnt vote for him, Joe Biden, in the michigan primary. Please understand, this is not coming from a Joe Biden sycophant. I am giving credit where credit is due. And we are opportunity to have him. And now, you know, when they say the Honey Moons over, and they are look, yeah, i think the Honey Moon is still going on, frankly. And anybody, who you have ever been on a Honey Moon, they went to the Grand Canyon, they get to the Grand Canyon, its closed. They go get something to eat, billy bobs burgers, they got food poisoning. Someone a week later somebody asks how did the Honey Moon go . Not so great. Food poisoning, Grand Canyon was closed. Yeah, but five years from now you are not going to remember your Honey Moon that way. You are bummed in moment. I think these polls out today showing his Approval Rating going down its only because americans are in the midst of this chaos right now, not just the end of the War In Afghanistan. But all of the stuff that happened in the last couple of weeks, the hurricanes, the everything. You know, when you have got a lot of Bummer Stuff going on, people around going to give happy answers to the pollster. But the Honey Moons not over. In fact, i can say that Joe Biden has gone up in my Approval Rating in these first seven months that he has been in office. Let me ask you, since you are a documenttarian, do you think when history looks back on all of this, michael, that the way that we exited afghanistan will be more of a footnote than an Exclamation Point to Bidens Legacy . Thats a good way to put it. Yes, thats exactly what it will be a footnote five months from now. Three months from now. I think what we are going to see is, wow, how was it that he got all those people out without one of them being killed by the taliban . Without a single plane being shot down . How did he do that . And while he was doing it, increased the Food Stamps to all the poor of this country. Cut Child Poverty in half. So many things happened during this last month because we are consumed with afghanistan. The fact that he eliminated College Debt for all disabled americans. So if you are disabled, you no longer your College Loans have been forgiven, during this time of chaos in afghanistan. There are so many little things like that. And we dont talk about them. But i think, you know, he should get the credit for this because its he had the guts to say no, thats the end of this. He had the guts to do it. Nobody else had the guts to do it. And hes a baddasbaddass in tha. He will do what he thinks is right and he will do what he thinks is the moral choice. Let me ask you about the domestic issues. We have pivoted somewhat. But encompassing both these concepts. The afghanistan War Cost 300 Million a day for two decades. It is an eye opening number. It has progressives asking, what if that kind of funding was spent on americans needs at home . What do you think could be different in this country with that kind of money . Is that concept of that voluminous amount of money, is that going to shape what a u. S. Military footprint will look like across the globe in the future . I hope so. I hope it means the money is going to be taken from war and put into the needs of the people of this country, and the rest of the world. We need to get vaccinated. All the things we need to do to help the rest of the world. See, this is when you say that b the 300 Million a day, which is what it cost us, for 20 years. So i cant do the math. I did Go To Catholic School but i am trying to do it right now. 70,000plus days in these 20 years. I hope none of my former nuns how are calling msnbc to dispute this number. But, man, 300 Million a day. This is why i am in the middle of writing Something Today for my substack. The headline is in the end, Bin Laden won. And we helped him do it. We did this to ourselves. Remember bush saying, we want to go over there and fight them. Fight them over here so we dont have to fight them here. He didnt understand the genius, The Evil Genius of Bin Laden was to draw us over there and lose not only thousands of our young Men And Women In Battle because there was no way Al Qaeda could invade the united states and kill a bunch of us. They had to get us to come over there. And they knew bush and his enablers were just that stupid that we would send our troops over there and that we would spend 300 Million a day for 20 years. When you think about that, yes, hes dead, Lost List life, Bin Laden, and Al Qaeda is in at that time erls. On that level, if you look at it that way, well, we won. But if you look at it in the fact that he knew something about us, that we would demolish our own democracy, we would pass a patriot act, we would wields do things to reduce our freedoms. He didnt have to do it. We actually passed legislation to do this. And whether he knew that or not in advance, the fact that it almost makes him look like a mad genius, that he knew that we would take away our own rights, that we would divide ourselves so viciously against Each Other in a way that we didnt before 9 11, that whatever he understood about our character, i wish he didnt know that and i wish we werent that way. It doesnt mean that we cant turn this around and he can still end up losing. But the fact that we spent trillions of dollars of our money instead of taking care of our own people who suffered during this time, where we werent ready for this pandemic. And once it happened we had a crazy guy in office, that we allowed that to happen, that we allowed him to get away with what he got away with and is still getting away with it now with his supreme court. So, you know so if you look at it like that, with a macro lens, It Kinds of looks like we defeated ourselves and all he did was strike the match. Yeah. And i hate that. I hate that. The same week the state implemented the strictest Abortion Law in the country, the State Legislature passed an Election Bill making it harder for texans to vote. Meantime, another law went into effect allowing people to carry handguns without permits or training. Joining me now, Texas Congressman mark beesy. I mean to tell you, how can you get your head around these three major action this is week in your state of texas . Do you think this represents the needs of texans . How is it resonating among your constituents . You know, texas, its sad, alex. Texas used to be the center of freedom in this country. Now we are just losing rights. And it is really sad. It is unfortunate. I believe the governor is doing it for political purposes that he sees a prize down the road. And so he is trying to pander to people. J just passed a law that frankly i think just about any texan that Quote And Quote aids and abets could ends up under this Bounty Hunter prosigs in this Abortion Bill to be sued, have liens placed on their houses, on their property. What is that going to do to neighbors . If someone suspects a neighbor is driving to get an abortion. A next Door Neighbor can create all sorts of havoc watching somebody leave a dravway. 10,000 is 10,000. Imagine people from out of state, which this law allows to sue other texans for taking part in this. Think about what lawyers do when they are seeking discovery. They are going to be going through Peoples Cell phones, private records, trying to figure out who talked to who, who knew what. This is a huge loss for all texans. Whether you are antichoice or whether you are prochoice or you dont think about this issue. We could all end up being drug into this because of the loss of rights here and the loss of privacy. And sadly, the biggest victims of all this are women, particularly poor and low income women that are going to find themselves not being a i believe to seek these services safely in the state of texas. Congressman, you have the white House Response to all this, which is the Abortion Law as well as the restrictive Voting Law which we havent even gotten to yet at this point. The ball is in congresss court. What is your response to that. What can you do, what do you plan on doing to battle all of this . I think we need to look to see if there is something we can do. You know as well as i do that trying to get 60 votes in the senate to be able to advance any legislation thats going to change this is going to be very tough. Going to change this is going to be very tough. Seriously. We need to make sure that we turn out and that we talk to other texans about this law, that we talk to voters that think that this went too far to make sure that the people that enacted this dont get reelected to office. That is the biggest thing that we can do because it will be tough to get anything through the united states congress. What about the three Pandemic Aid programs ending this Holiday Weekend, can congress take some sort of action to extend the benefits . We need to extend alex, this is the worst time and because the governor is looking Atrn A Bigger Prize and playing politics instead of playing about the health of texan, we have School Districts here in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and frankly all around the state is that are closing. Many in areas that heavily voted for the governor. School districts, schools that literally are having to shutter down because they cant do Mask Mandates . It is absolutely ridiculous. And because we cant do Mask Mandates and because we cant take the actions needed to protect our health, people are having to drop out of the workforce, people o having to spend more time at home with their kids. And it is going to lead to people not being able to pay their bills if they cant be at work. So why wouldn a we want to so assistance right now as the virus is rising . It absolutely makes no sense. And the other thing out there that i want to clear up, people want to work, people want to be at work. There is no one out there that is lazy trying to take advantage of the system. People want to go to work but they want to be safe too. I thank you so much for joining me. Well have you back again soon.
