Pay attention to local Evacuation Warnings and forecasts. Heed these warnings, it is a big storm. Thats going to do it for us for now. Now Jonathan Capehart good evening jonathan, its a Big Night already. It is rachel, youve covered a lot of big news. But i have to say i couldnt get ready for tonights show, listening to you breaking down how people couldnt trust the cdc but fully taking recommendations medications to take ivermectin. What is it, ivermectin . Ivermectin. It does nothing for covid, it can prevent worms in your cow. It is turning into an epidemic of misuse, that is turning out to be dangerous. It is insane. Right. And at a time when Hospital Beds are filling up with covid patients and not having enough Hospital Beds, for people who dont have covid. We are going to be talking about a lot of this on the Sunday Show on sunday. But we have to get to the Breaking News, rachel, thank you very much. Thank you. And tonight we begin with Breaking News. The u. S. Military has conducted a Counterterrorism Operation against an Isis K Planner. The initial indications are that the target was killed, according to officials. Isisk is the terrorist organization that claims responsibility for the explosion at Kabul Airport that killed 13 u. S. Service members. Military officials say the unmanned Air Strike took Place Today in the Nangarhar Province of afghanistan. They are no known Civilian Casualties. U. S. Service members at Kabul Airport are still under threat tonight, as efforts continue in the evacuation Of Americans and our allies from afghanistan, before the August 31st deadline for military withdrawal. Today, according to the White House, another 4200 people were evacuated from kabul. More than 114,000 have been evacuated from afghanistan since july, including more than 5000 americans. Nbc news has learned that national security officials believe another attack outside kabul is likely. And warned that the next days we will be the most dangerous yet. And there is new information Breaking Tonight about yesterdays deadly terror attack. The New York Times reports. At 5 48 pm, the bomber, we are in a 25 pound explosive vest under clothing, walked up to the group Of Americans who were frisking people hoping to enter the complex. He waited, officials said, until just before he was about to be searched by the american troops. And then he detonated the bomb, which was unusually large for a suicide vest, killing himself and igniting on it igniting an attack that would leave dozens of people dead, including 13 american Service Members. G 13 athose 13 u. S. Service mems killed include 11 marines. One Navy Corpsman and one u. S. Soldier. More than a dozen Service Members were injured. Afghan health officials say that as many as 170 civilians were killed in the explosion. None of those killed were american. Another 200 civilians were reportedly injured. Today, President Biden once again offered his condolences to the families of the 13 fallen so Service Members. Let me begin by once again acknowledging the Bravery And Sacrifice that our military makes every single day. The loss of those americans, marines and sailors, and army personnels tragic. But look, the mission there, that they perform, is dangerous. And now its come with a significant loss of american personnel. But its a worthy mission. As they continue to evacuates folks out of that region, out of the airport. Officials have issued maximum Force Protection measures to counter any possible threat in the final days of the evacuations. Even with heightened security concerns, thousands remain outside Kabul Airport, desperate to evacuate before the August 31st deadline. President biden has said that he intends to stick to the deadline, but talks between State Department officials and the taliban are underway to keep Kabul Airport open beyond the end of the month. Joining us now is Michael Weiss senior editor fornewlines magazine, and the Coauthor Ofisis inside the army of terror. Michael, thank you very much for being here. For the audience who doesnt know, what is isisk and what is its relationship with the taliban. So Isis K was formed in 2014. Many of its top ranking members were actually disaffected members of both the Afghan Taliban and also the pakistani taliban. These are guys who think that the Core Taliban that now rules afghanistan which to cuddly for their liking. The distinction here is that the taliban is seeking and has always been seeking to establish an emirates, they want to control the nationstate of afghanistan. Isiss mission is more messy and, deeply ideological, in fact. They look to establish the socalled caliphate, and they will not stop, since repeatedly, when the u. S. Led coalition went into iraq they want to see the Black Flag flowing over the capitals of rome, london, washington d. C. Isis is a transnational terror organization. And isisk, which essentially became a franchise of the Core Isis that grew up in the 11th And Mess up detainee a, shares exactly the same ideology. Now its true that go ahead its true that isisk and the taliban have been at war with each other for several years. Ferociously in some cases. There have been instances, in some cases, have seen the two on the ground, had basically bombed isisk, knowing that taliban would overtake them on the ground. And you can talk to any expert. As i mentioned, because so many of the isisk fighters come from the former ranks of the taliban, they share a lot of Family Members and associations with members inside the taliban. And the taliban is not a cohesive organization in the way that you may like to think it is. It is an insurgency. But as weve seen, they are socalled security checkpoints, isisk managed to counter them in a spectacular faction. Into places for the Suicide Bombings this week. It killed 13 or 14 Service Members of the u. S. Military. The concern of intelligence types, is that if the taliban is somehow infiltrated or compromised by members of Isis K, the taliban, which is still not in firmly control of afghanistan they surprised even themselves. They dont have a complete situational awareness of what is going on. This is a really dire set of circumstances. Both for the taliban, if you believe they are doctrine that they are at war with isisk and they will continue to be. And for the united states. Michael, you just gave me a piece of information that i didnt that i had not considered. Im sure a lot of people watching did not consider. And that is, the taliban itself may actually be weak compared to the insurgency of isis. Michael weiss, we will have to leave it there. Thank you very much for coming to the last word. Joining us now, Eugene Robinson Columnist for the washington post, and what David Rothkopf a foreign Affairs Analyst for the daily based East And Usa today. He is host of The Deep State Radio podcast. David, let me start with you. And lets listen to something that the State Department spokesperson said. They have made very clear to us, in our communication, they would like to see an american diplomatic presence remain. Ultimately, of course, its not up to the taliban. Its a determination that we will need to make, consistent with the overriding prerogative, and that is the Safety And Security of american officials. It is a decision we plan to discuss and to confer about, with our allies and partners as well. And so david, in answering and getting your reaction to whats Ned Price just said there, in your answer, factor in what we just heard from michael. And that is this notion that the taliban is not firmly in control in afghanistan and that the potential for isis to infiltrate the taliban and make it weaker, is something that has the biden administration officials kind of worried. Yes, and i think the biden administration is handling this extremely well. They also stated in the State Department spokesperson press conference, Ned Price, was that the Secretary Of State is hosting daily meetings with 30 of our allies to discuss how to proceed. He mentioned specifically that the united states is going to be coordinating with our allies. What kind of diplomatic presence they will have, we will have, what degree to which we will acknowledge the taliban as the government. What the conditions are, and so forth. I think that is right and prudent. You also have a lot of leverage with the taliban, in terms of economic factors. We hold a lot of their gas, and so the government of afghanistan, there is a lot of international economic leverage we have as well. And i think the united states is trying to use it. To do things like you mentioned, including keeping the airport open, so that people can get out in the future, the taliban have said that they want to keep the borders open. If thats the case, and they are able to do that, that is also a positive thing. After all, the objective of the united states, is to be able to protect our citizens and also to be able to keep eyes and ears on terrorists, like those from isisk, so that we can do exactly what we do today. Which is, when we find them, we can send them a drone and eliminate them. Jeanne, i want to read something from your fantastic column, the washington post, today. And read this to you, and to the audience. The problem is that this, quote, forever war, we truly have had to continue forever. We were never going to outlast the taliban, and this is an important point, because its members live there and want to govern the country. Afghanistan is their country, not ours. The Nations Fate was never going to matter more to us than it does to them, however repulsive we may find their vision for it. So, Eugene Robinson we, why are so many people surprised with how this ended . I dont know. I dont know. Because how would you imagine this war would end . Its messy. Its tragic. But it was going to end, more or less, this way. Different events, god willing, the Suicide Bombing would not have happened. And maybe more people would have gotten out. Maybe not. But the fact is that this was bound to and in a messy, sad, tragic way, because we were going to leave. We were going to leave whether it was last year, this year, right now, next year, five years from now. We were going to leave. The taliban was still going to be there. Isisk was still going to be there. And afghanistan was still going to be afghanistan. We gave it the illusion of a secular democracy. But not the actuality of a sexual secular reality. Because frankly, not enough afghans bought into that idea. And thats just the sad fact. I want to bring the audience on with some new reporting. The target of tonights Drone Strike was an isisk fighter, they ought to be involved in planning for future attacks, according to two u. S. Defense officials. He was riding in a vehicle with one associate at the time. They were driving in an isolated area and the u. S. Military is not aware of any of its Civilian Casualties in the strike. David, how surprised are you that the united states was able to find the alleged bomber so quickly . Not that surprised. The united states has extraordinary resources. I think one of the things we may want to take from this, is that some of the criticism we were hearing two weeks ago, about the nature of this threat. Is just not true, one of the kinds of criticism was, we did not have intelligence assets who would be able to control terrorist threats. Well, that was disproven within 24 hours from this attack. Also, we were also told the united states was going to sort of fall back in the view of the world. But in the course of the past two weeks, we have overseen one of the biggest logistical achievements of any modern military ever. I think by the time we get to the deadline we may have airlifted one of 150,000 people after out of afghanistan. That was also something we were told was not going to be possible. In other words, early on in the evacuation, there were a lot of people essentially crying wolf about what this meant for the united states. But now that we have just two weeks of perspective, we can see that we remain on a very strong position, able to advance our mission. And the president seems to be exactly right in pursuing this, as he had for all the reasons that Eugene Robinson just pointed out. And on the question of the president , i was going to ask you initially, how does this, meaning the bombing and the way the evacuation is going, how that is going to factor into his presidency. By now that we have this Breaking News tonight, that the alleged bomber, from Yesterdays Bombing at the airport, has been killed by the u. S. Military, how does this all play into the Grass Politics facing the president . In fact, we dont know, jonathan and we wont know for sometime. But the lesson we can take is that the initial lesson, the conventional wisdom although conventionally wise who say that this is a huge crisis for the biden administration, we will never recover, and so on. Just ignore that. Also ignore the people who may say the opposite. And realize that when big advance like this happen, we dont know on day two or week to, or really month to, what the ultimate impact is going to be. It always takes time. What was the political impact on Franklin Roosevelt of Pearl Harbor . You know . [laughs] you could imagine twitter the next day saying, this is it, it is over for roosevelt. And we all know how that played out. So, you know, we will have to wait and see. I know it sounds like a cliche, but its just simply true. And you know what, Eugene Robinson, that is good advice for all of us in his profession and also the american people. Wait and see. Eugene robinson, David Rothkopf, thank you for joining us tonight. It all, comes down, to this. Breaking tonight, louisiana is facing a dire public health emergency. Covid hospitalizations of children have overwhelmed hospitals in the states, just as Hurricane Idea is forecast to make landfall on sunday as a category four storm, six years to the day after Hurricane Katrina hit louisiana as a category three storm. There have been mandatory evacuations ordered for low lying areas outside the Levee System of the city. She is also calling for evacuations inside the Levee System. Our next guest is the physician in chief at the Childrens Hospital in new orleans, where a Surge Team was called in to the city, of doctors, nurses and paramedics. Louisiana is a state with a very low vaccination rate. Just 40. 9 of residents are fully vaccinated. A new record for Covid Deaths was recently set. One death recently was a baby less than a year old. It was the first time in six months that a child had died from covid in louisiana. Since the pandemic began, 11 children under the age of 18 have died from covid. And right now about 31 of new covid cases in louisiana are among children younger than 18. The picture, across the united states, is just as bad. Across the country more than 100,000 people are hospitalized for covid19, the highest number since january. Daily Covid Deaths have increased by 53 in the last two weeks. Dr. Mark kline is standing by in new orleans, but first lets get the latest on Hurricane Ida with meteorologist michelle grossman. What can we expect from Hurricane Ida . We are expecting a category four storm. It is a terrible situation by itself and with a pandemic it is worse. So we are looking at a storm that, as it makes landfall, will be a category four storm. It is crossing over cuba now as we look at winds of 80 miles per hour. What will happen over the next 36 hours, it will go over the waters of the gulf of mexico. They are so warm and deep, that is all it needs to blossom. So it will quickly become a category two storm, and then a category four storm early sunday morning. And look what happens. At the coast of louisiana. We are expecting a landfall now of a category four storm with 140 mile per hour winds. And it is not out of the realm of possibilities to see this as a category four storm. It is still really strong storm. And there is water of course, torrential downpour, of course, sunday. We could see 20 inches of rain. We will see the Pumping Stations and levees tested. So these are your tropical alerts. All the way from Lake Charles to the mississippi alabama border. But where you see that red, and that includes Baton Rouge and morgan city, if you have not heeded those warnings you want to do so tonight, tomorrow, tomorrow afternoon. Because sunday will be too late. These are the rainfall impacts. This is just a dire situation when you see these numbers, generally 8 to 15 inches but we could see up to 20 inches, about 15 feet. Meteorologist michelle grossman. Thank you very much for that update. Joining us now is dr. Mark kline, physician in chief in new orleans. Hes a pediatrician and an infectious disease specialist. Thank you for being here. What is your hospital doing to prepare for a possible category four hurricane . And how devastating could these before hospitals struggling with covid patients . Thanks for having me, jonathan. Hospitals are stretched really thin. The staff is exhausted, the nurses and doctors and the Respiratory Therapists and social workers have been working overtime for a couple of months now with this Delta Surge of covid19. Our own hospital had its busiest month in 66 years in the history of the hospital, in july. In terms of the average daily census. The census in our critical care units and our Emergency Center. Our Emergency Center visits were up 77 in july compared to june. So, people have worked as hard as they possibly can, and the last thing in the world that we need right now its a category four storm impacting us. But that is what weve got. And we will pull together and work as a team. And we will get through this like we have everything else. Dr. Mark kline, ive been wondering this. What are you saying to parents who are unvaccinated and their children are hospitalized with covid . What im saying to all parents, whether they have a child hospitalized with covid are not, is get the vaccine. Adults have to take responsibility for this. Young children are not eligible for the vaccine just yet. So if you are under 12 years of age, you are not going to be vaccinated. And even for adolescents between 12 and about 17 years of age, the rate of vaccination has been very low. As adults we have to step up, Show Responsibility and get vaccinated, protect the most vulnerable among us, and thats young children. This pandemic is heavily impacting children across the age range. In our own hospital we are seeing children as young as seven or a nine weeks hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care. And those cases are entirely preventable if we do what we need to do, which is to mask up, distance, and above all, vaccinate. Dr. Mark kline, the thank you for being here, we hope you and your hospital stay safe. Thank you for joining us tonight. Thanks jonathan. Millions Of Americans are at risk of losing their homes after the Supreme Court ruled late Last Night that the biden administrations new Eviction Moratorium was unconstitutional. In a 6 to 3 decision, this Supreme Court ruled that the cdc exceeded the scope of its authority by issuing the temporary ban. It said, if a federally imposed Eviction Moratorium is to continue, congress must specifically authorize it. Meanwhile, the Delta Variant continues to spread. That means two things. One, unemployment might remain high as the new Covid Strain prevents hiring, making it more likely that americans wont be able to afford their rent or mortgage. To, studies have shown that this could further accelerate the spread of the virus, as people congregate in communal housing situations. The dissent of the supreme Court Decision wrote that The Public Interest is not in favor by the spread of the disease. Congresswoman cori bush, who led an Eviction Protest outside the capital earlier this month, sleeping on the steps of the building, tweeted, we were outside the capital for five days. Rain, heat, cold. If they think this partisan ruling is going to stop us from fighting to keep people housed, they are wrong. Congress needs to act immediately. For every anheuser soon to be and how is the person in our districts. Joining us now are democratic Congressman Mondaire jones, deputy whip of the democratic caucus. And tara raghuveer, of the tenants Rights Organization in kansas city. Why isnt the rental Assistance Funding getting to the tenants who need it the most, what are you hearing from your constituents who are most affected . Im hearing from my constituents what the new governor of New York has said, which is that the Status Quo is unacceptable. I look at a state like New York, my home state, which is sitting on more than Two Billion dollars appropriated through congress, for this purpose, and yet the Government Agency of new York State responsible for dispersing those funds has been slow to do so. And so i think with the leadership of, kathy hochul, our new governor, we will see a change, given the departure of andrew cuomo. But not every state is like New York, you will not have cooperative governance everywhere. So we have to do what we failed to do previously, which is make it easier for landlords to be made whole. I hear from landlords all the time about needing these funds. We want to keep as many as 11 Million people from becoming homeless. Thats right. And one more Congressman Question for you, congressman jones, these are Shadow Docket cases, often decided without Oral Arguments and often without a Majority Opinion explaining the courts opinion. But what does this say about the future of the Supreme Court . I think it is the latest example of how this 63 hyperpartisan conservative majority on the Supreme Court, is out of touch with the realities of working with people on this country. This is something that should not have happened. There was a statute that very clearly gave the cdc the authority to reinstate the eviction more authoritarian. And this pandemic is at its strongest in terms of its justification in doing so. And what we are seeking is a court that, in the same way it has been dismantled statutes that would julian acted by congress, and is hostile to Voting Rights, is a core that is putting itself of ahead of the american people. And of elevating itself above action by the White House, action it is authorized to do in this case. And tara raghuveer, were you surprised by last Nights Court Ruling . I wasnt surprised. I am a Tenant Organizer and we have known since March Of 2020 that an Eviction Moratorium was going to be temporary. And it wasnt going to save us. We knew that the courts were going to challenge the biden administration on the reinstatement of the moratorium. And the courts are partisan. As Representative Jones pointed out, they made a decision along partisan lines Last Night, and the implications are going to be devastating for tenants. Tenants were already in a bad position to begin with. So no, i wasnt surprised. And now we are buckling up for what is going to be a really, really hard period for poor and working class americans. Your organization, peoples action, hes proposing a national Tenants Bill of rights. What with this bill of rights entail, what does that look like . Its all about power, jonathan. So in todays housing market, the landlord has all the power over the tenant. And thats because there are no national eviction or any other tenant protections. So im a tenant in a state like missouri. And in missouri, this is one of the most tenant unfriendly states in the country, representative Jones State may have more protections but that patchwork is really killing us. And it makes it so that a tenant has to deal with conditions that no person should have to deal with, in order to keep a roof over their head. So national tenant rights would address this by banning source of income discrimination. Making it so that landlords dont get to discriminate against voucher holders. It would put controls on rents so that grants are not hiked to unbelievable Rates Year after year. It would make it so that Landlords Cant Evict for no cause. And we are in the process right now of talking to millions of tenants about what they want and need out of this bill of rights for tenants. It is only through this systemic fix that anything about the problems that we are facing now will be addressed. Faci and congressman jones, to that point, of systemic fix, how likely is it that congress will act in the way that the Court Demands . That Congress Fix this . I think you will see the house do the Lions Share of the work, to get to a place where everyone in this country can live in dignity. But when it gets to the senate, you will still have this issue of the filibuster, which i have called upon the White House to help us get rid of. Because so long as you have people like Kirsten Sinema and joe manchin, saying we need ten republicans to sign on to any legislation outside of the reconciliation process, you will have a situation where as many as 11 Million people face Housing Insecurity in his country. That is untenable. So we have to push for congress to do its job, for the senate to get rid of the filibuster. But we also have to call in the states to get this money out. In total, congress has allocated over 46 Billion dollars for this purpose, between the cares act legislation and the american Rescue Plan passed this year. We have the funds to get Rental Assistance out. We just need the State Level political will. I remember seeing that one was 80 of the funding has not gone. Out mondaire jones and tara raghuveer, thank you for being here. What do you call a policy that intentionally targets black and brown people to disenfranchise them of their rights . The bill went on for more than 12 Hours Yesterday with republicans adding several provisions that make the legislation even more restrictive, including imposing criminal penalties and civil fines on Election Workers and requiring large texas counties to livestream the ballot counting process. Republicans shut down all but one of the amendments suggested by democrats. The most shocking and illustrative moment of yesterdays debate it came where the of public and speaker actually asked the people to not use the Word Racism because republicans dont want to be called racists for passing racist legislation, fancy. That the joining debate is our next guest who explains in detail to texas republicans how their election policies have targeted people of color. Courts have proved overrun, and over again intentional discrimination against african americans, intentional discrimination against latinos, intentional discrimination against people of color. These are not my words, these are three federal courts across this country making ten findings of that intentional discrimination. Intentional discrimination against people of a certain race, is that racism . We those words, intentional discrimination, i think can be fairly characterized in that manner. We can talk about racial impacts of this legislation without accusing members of this body of being racist. I mean, Come On. Tonight, the Texas Senate decided to send the voting Restrictions Bill to conference committee. Joining us now is democratic Texas State Representative Route File concede, chair of the democratic legislative caucus. The and we Britney Cooper the not author of eloquent rage. Let me start with you rafael, they are uncomfortable using the word racist. But as you pointed out, they have a history of discriminating against people of color. This is not alltimey News Reel stuff, this is digital and desist contemporary. This is all happening in the last decade on Voting Rights. These instances of intentional discrimination. Go one step forward, these courts have said that you meant to discriminate against latinos, african americans, and people of color. That is a damning record. So we have debated that bill for almost 13 hours Last Night. And we knew this day was coming. We broke we went to washington, made the case for the federal government to act. And, you know the grounds in the background from my republican colleagues, they dont even like when we talk about discrimination they like to talk in the language, and youll probably remember this, purely off the ballot box. That was a famous exchange that we had on the House Floor that went viral. But we have to call it what it is, intentional discrimination, it is people of color, it is racist. And that is the bottom line. It was an unfortunate statement, and, again, it was a me saying it. These are federal judges that were appointed by republicans and democrats from across the country that made these findings over, and over, and over again. You know, britney, many republicans campaigned on this type of Dog Whistle around issues involving racism whether its Voting Or Safety programs, immigration. But then they bristle if someone calls it racist. Yeah. I mean, look, it is not racist if you do not see it is racist, right . This Office Tree that goes on in the right where they want to be they are being brazenly, intentionally racist and they do not want to be called that. But i think that exchange where there was this discourse about the difference between intention an impact is really important. Most of us who Work On Studies of Race And Racism have set for a long time that we actually should be looking primarily at disparate impacts. If you can prove that these policies make it harder for people of color to go vote, we dont actually need to know about your intention, we just need to know that you act in ways to make it harder for black and brown people to participate in democracy. What is also true and what i think is most infuriating is that in this case, we also know that they meet the intentionality standard. They are not just acting in ways that are having bad impact. They are actually intentionally doing so. And we have a real problem in this country where most of the folks who are racist want to openly, brazenly be racist, they just dont want to be called racist. And you dont need to be a federal court to know what racism is. We all know what it is. And these folks were being called out. They know exactly what it is. They just want us to have this era of civility that says, that we can act in ways to use power to devastate people and then we dont want to be held accountable by being accurately described by the adjectives of the dictionary graves us to describe this kind of racist behavior. If theyre going to act, it i am going to call it out. State representative and gia, how are you feeling tonight after fighting this bill you fought so hard to block is coming closer to being passed. And how close are you to the impacts of this bill not only on voters but on Election Workers . We take Voting Rights seriously. My father grew up under an absolute dictatorship, my mother grew up in mexico where they had one party in rule for 70 years. So when we are talking about Voting Rights, we take it very seriously my family. It shifted to the House Floor. This bill will not become law for 90 days. It will not be effective. So i look right at the Camera Today and i owe looked at our friends in washington. I looked at our united representatives, senators, and i said that it is time for us to find common ground on the Voting Rights act. Whether its the John Lewis Act or the other one, we need federal protection because republicans in texas have shown themselves incapable of protecting the freedom of vote for millions of texans. And i am hopeful that we are going to get something done in congress. When we met with Vice President harris in the roosevelt room, she asked us to hold out and give congress more time to act. We did that through two quarter breaks, a regular session, a special session, and now theyre at 90 days left before this law goes into effect, so the clock is ticking and we need action now. 90 days, the top clock is ticking. Texas Representative Rafael Anchia and Brittney Cooper thank you for joining us tonight. We will be right back. Ht back. Summer is a state of mind, you can visit anytime. News from afghanistan in the wake of yesterdays deadly attack that killed 13 u. S. Service members. Tonight, Nbc News is reporting that Defense Department sources say the u. S. Military killed an Isis K Planner who was planning future attacks. Joining us by form is panic on correspondent we what we know about tonight is that this was a military drone. It was a strike with direct retaliation from the airport yesterday. Look according to the officials i spoke with, it was someone who was believed to have been involved in planning for future attacks by Isis K. It is one individual. He was isolated in a vehicle at the time of that the drone struck. The military did not believe that there were Civilian Casualties in the strike. It occurred in the eastern part of afghanistan, east of kabul, and it is right along the border with pakistan. It is an area that isisk had a Safe Haven in up until a couple of years ago when there was this larger effort from the security forces, and actually the taliban also with they were largely driven out of the area. They lost the ground there were holding. There but the reality is, jonathan, there still has been fighters there. There may be 1000 still in afghanistan, they just dont hold the land that they used. To again, the headline here is the u. S. Is carrying out a retaliatory strike. Courtney, how worried are officials about future strikes, future attacks . They are very concerned. There is still a real credible intelligence about isis trying to carry out additional impacts in kabul. Particularly against the airport. They are concerned about the threats from Suicide Attacks against the airport by an individual, they are very worried about a potential vehicle borne explosive we, potentially even getting in the airport and detonating. They are still worried about the with fact, and this is in many airfields of afghanistan, rockets. They are afraid of rockets stopping the Evacuation Efforts or, worstcase scenario, firing a rocket and potentially taking out a civilian airliner. You know, courtney, how can the military protect against an attack without slowing down the fact creation, which is now in its waning days, closing days . That is one of the biggest challenges that they. Have they have to make sure that they maintain perimeter security, security of the airfield, and security of their men and women who are in service. That is one of the biggest challenges because the job that many of the Service Members are doing is actually screening civilians as they Come On the airfield. And that is up close and personal work. They are putting them down, they are checking for explosives or weapons. That is how we saw the Suicide Bomber Yesterday getting so close to the u. S. Military members. They were actually checking them as they came onto the airfield. It is going to be a challenge in the next couple of days until August 31st.
