But what the president then went on to lay out in terms of strategies to defeat delta, were a mix of things that the administration has already done. He talked about giving schools the resources they need to reopen. And reopen safely this fall. The 45 Million from that covid Relief Laws that are going out to state and local governments. Interestingly, as part of what he has emphasized is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Allowing states and local governments to use that Relief Money to incentivize those who have not gotten covid shots yet. 100 at least, if you go out and get your shot now. But as i said, this is a president who believes this is a pandemic on the unvaccinated. So, they are continuing to do everything they can to try to encourage those who havent gotten vaccines to get it. Thats been a significant challenge as we know. The administration says it is continuing to do everything it can to reach those populations who might not have had time to do this. We believe it or not, they are talking about things like Peter Leave for Work Forces that have maybe not been able to get out and get the vaccine. What were also noting is a real turn in terms of the political rhetoric coming from this White House. The White House has praised governors, including republican governors. Who they think have been doing the writing. That speaks to the real frustration of the White House, that for all they can do from washington, there are still a challenge primarily centered in a number of republican states. The Gates Door open until seven. And already, we are seeing cars lined up here. People waiting to get tested. This is also a Vaccination Site as well. The county of orange here in the orlando area, also mandating that all Non Union employees were masks. And this caused a stir. Protesters actually stormed the Mayors Office on friday to protest this move. Ove. The county of orange also mandating masks for children in schools. That they are giving parents that option to Opt Out. So, a lot of officials as we are now learning, local School Districts are amending can mask with that caveat that gives parents that Opt Out to satisfy the governors Executive Order. Some saying that unvaccinated lives matter. What is going on . There what is i will see that is harr me to rationalize myself. I think people dont like mandates of any sort. We all had to be vaccinated to work in the hospital. We had to get all of our series of shots. We all have to get shots to go through school. To attend college, to attend elementary. To us, its like no other vaccine. Theres no difference in this vaccine compared to the risk. For them, i think there is just a general skepticism about the vaccine itself and im just not sure how to overcome that. I think most people just have to be directly affected by covid itself. And unfortunately, when they lose a loved one, most people then get their vaccine or come around. But its unfortunate that it takes that much to convince some people. So i know. I understand. Its a tough situation there. You have some 30 patients there are covid patients in your own small hospital. 12 of them in the icu and a number of them are young people. I think there are some, as the report mentioned, you have senator haggerty, who is concerned about deficit spending, other who raised the flag over how the bill would generate revenue, its similar to crypto currency, all of that could get fired, out when you think about what is in the bill, you have money for shoring up the electrical Infrastructure And Power grid. Think about the cyberattack on the pipeline back in may, think about the electrical outages in texas, those were weather related. Nevertheless, incredibly important for our country. And impacting states that are not just democratic states, but democratic districts. That is why i do feel a lot more optimistic about where we are. What do you think about the rising Crime Rate around the country right now, typically, you can associate that with a lack of job opportunities. So i am looking at this as a potential to spur significant growth, economic growth, Job Creation in the private, and also company public sector. You think that many of our urban and rural areas, this is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurship, it encourages apprenticeship, to learn new skills and trades. But then, i want to say after the third extension, that is when we realized, okay, things were not going to be the same, and will not be the same for a long time, more than we would like to admit. And, once we realized that, we started to get nervous like, ok, our wedding will probably be impacted by this. And by october, 2020, thats when we realized, we need to push back the wedding. In order to have the wedding we want, we want to basically have an open border, because we want people to go back and forth, if need be. We realized, that would not be the situation thats when we realized, okay, things will be challenging for us. I mean, renee, youve only been able to sneak in a few visits with Each Other because of how painstaking it is. So tell me, how have you guys kept this connection alive . Was it like face timing, every night . Basically. Every day. [laughs] every day, a lot of Zoom Calls. A lot of face times, anything, any sort of connection that we could have, yes. But then, to the north of that river, there is this island called bell ill. And, between that, there is a park on the other side of winds are, that is closer than that mile.
