Peopled getting vaccinated at higher rate. 500,000 people are getting vaccinated every single day and 15,000 of those people are getting vaccinated every week. Congress was unable to extend the day was unable to approve legislation that would keep this ban on evictions across the country. We know that 46 Billion were set aside by the federal government months ago to try to get this to the renters in need during the pandemic yet the issue here has been that the money has gotten stuck and tied up at the State Level and many states are doing what they can to speed up the Application Process and speed up the approval so that the renters can get this money. We know at the moment at least 6. 5 million renters around the country are behind on rent and many of them now vulnerable to eviction. We should also note that some states including colorado, New Jersey and some others have enacted their own moratorium giving more time for these renters to receive some of that help and get it to the landlords. We should also note with the Eviction Moratorium ending, the landlords do have the option in many places to begin the Eviction Process or to choose to rent for the waiters to get approved. Get this assistance and eventually get the money to the landlord. A lot of pieces moving at the moment. Everyone is hoping that the money goes from the states to the renters as fast as possible. Meanwhile, congress would have to break this, they would have to essentially come back and get together in order to approve legislation that would extend the federal moratorium. Something they would not be able to do and that looks like it is very difficult. For now it is up to the states, the cities and the counties to extend the moratoriums and protect the people that cant pay the rent as we mentioned.
