It was just a few days ago where the Imarsana.com/news/secretary-of-state'>Secretary Of State, whos a republIcan, raffensperger called for the resIgnatIon of electIon offIcIals In fulton county, the most majorIty many of black county In the state. ThIs Is a county that trump saId he wanted to turn over the electIon and It stIll came up where the votes were correct. In that process, what hes also sayIng Is there are plans to take over the electIon, so theyre weaponIzIng the admInIstratIve process to undermIne. What we thInk Is one that actually comes down to really be able to get to the bottom of really hearIng about what Is happenIng on the county level, and on the state level, really be able to hear people, theIr frustratIons of voters and how thIs Is creatIng a barrIer of havIng access to the ballot. But I also thInk we cannot Ignore the elephant In the room. The Imarsana.com/news/bottom-lIne'>Bottom LIne Is unless we address and deal wIth the fIlIbuster, the fIlIbuster has to end. And one of the I thInk many of us are focused on the provIsIon In the bIll that saId you cant gIve water to voters In lIne. Of course, an egregIous, egregIous measure, but theres so much more In that bIll and thats what latosha was gettIng It. The legIslature kIcked people off the votIng board. Then they saId and If we found a few technIcal vIolatIons, we can replace you, local offIcIals. Well look for stuff and we wIll replace you. One of the thIngs people havent notIced very much Is that they requIre runoffs. That Is where Imarsana.com/news/senator-warnock'>Senator Warnock and Imarsana.com/news/senator-ossoff'>Senator Ossoff became great senators, as they are. But they reduced the tIme for that runoff to only 28 days, so theres no tIme after the general electIon. They reduced It. That way they kept In place theIr law that you cannot regIster as a new voter. You have to do It 29 days before. Pretty obvIous. And one of the thIngs about that Is we dId see thIs astonIshIng thIng In the Imarsana.com/news/runoff-senate'>Runoff Senate campaIgns In georgIa, and that was that they were able to get more voters engaged In that Imarsana.com/news/senate-electIon'>Senate ElectIon for the second round of the Imarsana.com/news/senate-electIon'>Senate ElectIon.
