Can make good on its promise to take care of them. In this case, that means to evacuate them out of the country in very short order. I know thats a story shared by many of the veterans who join me in that video with vote vets. We are coming together to make sure america keeps its promise. Governments capability in this regard, theres been some interesting discussion about what it would take to get this done at speed. Potentially moving them to guam, u. S. Territory for that purpose. Obviously the huge months long back and years long backlog thats become the normal in terms of processing these kinds of visas wont work here. How do you see this logistically coming together . What do you think should be done . President biden said he would get 100 Million shots in arms in his first hundred days. You more than doubled that. He said he deliberate big bold infrastructure bill. Hes delivering that as we speak he said we are going to withdraw fully by Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/september-11th'>September 11th and secure the futures of the 18,000 interpreters who aided american troops eiffel confidence he will deliver that. We in congress are going to keep the pressure up and keep the oversight up to ensure that it happens. Yes in congress we can pass procedures to streamline expedite the program and its necessary. We know thats still a yearslong timeline. There needs to be immediate action to relocate these interpreters from afghanistan to third countries so they can have a safe place to apply for the program. You and your fellow veterans in congress making a very articulate very persuasive case thAt This needs to be done. Everybody seems to be arguing on the same side of it. Do you know either who needs to be persuaded, or what fires need to be lead under what parts of the government in order to make a start happening more quickly . So far the impact of the united states has been muted. We havent heard a lot about the united states targets. But recently railways were affected, and this is precisely the kind of attack that biden called out in the summit a few weeks ago. What is the general understanding in the field about whAt The u. S. Government means when it says we will respond . Whats in the arsenal and what is actually deployable . Im not up enough on what cyber offense looks like to know whAt The u. S. Government might do if in Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/fact-biden'>Fact Biden decides to backup his words with actions. Well, until now, weve responded large with sanctions and indictments and that doesnt get us anywhere, its not a deterrent as we all know russia has extradited cybercriminals. We hacked into the computers of the Href='https://vimarsana.com/news/internet-research-agency'>Internet Research Agency which is where russian trolls were sending some of their divisive messages via social media, i dont know exactly whAt The messages said but it said something like we know where we are, we know who you are and if you meddle with our elections we will come for you. There is a Working Group with the u. S. , and 19 other countries that are coming up with a manual of consequences in trying to figure out where is the tHreshold for these attack and where will we respond beyond the low level diplomatic penalties.
