Taxrelated conduct. Nbc news reported that the Manhattan District attorney was probing schemes where Trump Organization employees were allegedly able to avoid paying taxes in exchange for benefits such as apartments. And forgive the pun, but this headline was just too good. The tentacles of the investigation now reach trumps former Body Guard who, believe it or not, is the companys Chief Operating Officer over whether he received tax free benefits. As for the former president , he was in wellington, ohio, Last Night for what was a score settling Endorsement Rally for republican Congressman Anthony Gonzalez who voted to impeach trump for the January 6th insurrection. Trumps rambling remarks were littered with Fear Mongrg but comes as the Oath Keepers has pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges related to the January 6th attack on the cappal to. One other member of the Extremist Group pleaded guilty to lesser charges and so far 16 members of the Oath Keepers have been charged. Following republican opposition and a blockage of a bipartisan independent January 6th commission, House Speaker Nancy pelosi has announced she is creating a select committee to investigate the attack. Its unknown at this time who will be on that select committee. Also on capitol hill, things continue to be tense regarding an Infrastructure Deal. President biden issued a lengthy statement Walking Back Comments that he made moments after it was announced that a bipartisan deal had finally been struck where biden appeared to imply he would veto the bill if a tandem, larger bill didnt pass along with it. As you can imagine, that caused quite a bit among some republicans who had worked on that correspondent for npr is the cohost of the npr politics podcast. Thanks for joining us. This was interesting. They got to that deal but biden more than other democrats had really wanted to be bipartisan. And very shortly thereafter biden said something that caused those republicans to say, hey, that wasnt part of the deal. We just agreed to this deal. We didnt agree to do Anything Else and if this nonsense continues, were backing out. Yeah, ali, i think its really just indicative of the push and pull that the president feels both from some of the more moderate democrats in his party, as well as progressives. You know, i did reporting earlier this week on essentially the question of is bipartisanship dead . Because a number of folks within the progressive left of the party really are frustrated with the president at this point. Issues on Voting Rights where they feel like the president keeps trying to push for bipartisan reform and that just is a really difficult challenge when you got a 50 50 vote in the senate. And, so, for some democrats on the progressive wing of the party, they would rather abandon this idea that biden comes with from his decades in the senate of trying to find common ground. Theyre saying, look, if we just got rid of this filibuster, which we could do. They could vote the filibuster away as long as all democrats in the Senate Support that. Which they dont. Why dont we get rid of the filibuster and pass everything with 50 votes Plus One. That is certainly the view of some folks on the left. And i will say, part of their frustration when i was speaking with people is that they say, well, look at how many, you know, how many republicans supported the, quote, big lie. That President Trump did, in fact, in their view, win the election in november. Theyll say look at how many republicans or how few republicans January 6th commission. And so they told me if thats your Starting Point for bipartisanship, where do you think youre going to go from there . How do you think youre actually going to get bipartisan reform on big issues like Infrastructure And Police reform. So, yes, they are pushing to end the filibuster. Of course, the question is, there are two rather prominent senators, Krysten Sinema who came out and said they dont endorse the filibuster and other democrats, as well, who arent as public but dont see that as a right solution at this time. Theyre happy not to have the light shining on them as long as Sinema And Manchin have the light on. What does he believe he gains by a compromise bipartisan deal because what a lot of the progressive democrats are saying is that the people out there dont ever remember who voted for or against a bill in most cases. They tend to want the bill and if the democrats pass the bills the way progressive democrats would like them passed, they would be bigger bills that democrats could sort of boast and run on reelection on where these Compromise Bills dont tend to have the same impact. You know, theres something i would say in Joe Bidens dna that makes him believe deeply in the essence of bipartisanship. You know, all throughout his campaign that he believes firmly that once trump would be out of office that he would push for compromise solutions and this came up in his remarks even just this past week. He has spoken about this being a Turning Point between democracy and authoritarianism. This moment in the united states as kind of a critical moment where either the united states can push forward or be overtaken like countries like china. He sees the idea of bipartisanship as being intimately connected to democracy. Indicative in his view that democracy can still work. Democracy functions and i think, you know, many folks in his administration saw the bipartisan Infrastructure Deal as proof that this was getting washington back to normal and getting back to proof that democracy can still function. Even if you dont get, in his words, everything you want. Thank you for joining me. Political reporter for Npr And Cohost of the npr politics podcast. Joining me Vice Chairman of the Labor Committee and might or might not be one of those progressive members of congress who i was just talking to asma about who would like democrats to get things done, according to the agenda on which they ran. And perhaps congressman, i dont want to put words in your mouth, but not as interested as Joe Biden is in this dna of compromise with certain republicans. Well, if were going to compromise and we have a compromised agreement right now on the table, that has to also come with a reconciliation package. I represent the bronx, New York. I also represent mt. Vernon and i represent yonkers. And if you look at the pockets of poverty in these areas, if you look at how public housing is falling apart. If you look at how the lack of programs for kids and young adults and Work Readiness and lack of green spaces and the Cross Bronx Expressway which goes through the bronx and destroyed the borough many years ago. We need help. We need support. So we have to go big on infrastructure. We have to go big on climate. And we have to go Big On Racial Equity and racial justice. When i traveled throughout my district, the number one thing i hear is theres nothing for kids to do. Our housing is falling apart and thats why we see a rise in some of the violence in crime because people are desperate and in desperate circumstances. So, thats fine if we want to have a bipartisan agreement which i believe we have one currently in place. But it has to be coupled with an agreement thats going to be very big, that republicans probably are not going to agree to but at this moment, democrats are saying to washington to do the work of the american people, thats our job. And we have to push very aggressively and boldly to get that done. Congressman bowman, some of those things may get done in smaller bills, but we do have this issue of the Department Of Justice suing over Georgia Voting restrictions. This is the pressing one because across this nation, states particularly republicanled states are doing things that are apparently solving a problem we do not have. That is widespread voter fraud. The net effect of this is to disfranchise certain voters and the Department Of Justice is saying this specific bill in georgia is intended to do things that will cause black and brown people to vote at lower rates. Thats right. I mean, this is the first time georgia was completely blue in terms of two senators and the president. So, the republicans are going to push back in any way they can to make sure that they remain in Minority Control and black and brown and remain disenfranchised. Its not georgia. As we know, its happening across the country. This is the republican backlash, if you will. This is why S1 And Hr1 is so important. We have to pass democracy reform. We have to get big money out of politics and we have to retroactively levels to make Voting Rights as strong as ever. And as we can see, republicans in the senate shot down s1 because, again, theyre focused on obstruction. Theyre focused on maintaining their power. Theyre focused on their corporate backers where democrats are focused on serving the american people. So, S1 And Hr1 very important in this moment. Infrastructure, very important in this moment and if the republicans do not want to serve, the american people, democrats have to move forward to do so. Lets talk about derek Chauvins Sentencing and conviction for 22 years. Some think that is not enough. They were looking for 30 years. Beyond what others thought he would get. More importantly the changes we need including the George Floyd Justice and policing act, it looks like that is still in contention and both republicans and democrats are saying theyre getting closer on a deal. The issue that is probably not going to be resolved to your satisfaction is qualified immunity for police. You know, its unbelievable that this is even a conversation. Police have to be held accountable when they violate the civil rights of someone or when they kill someone. That is all qualified immunity is about. Its about accountability for police. What we see in the Derek Chauvin Conviction and sentencing is accountability. Unfortunately, we havent seen it with Brionna Taylor or for Tamir Rice and so many others. We need accountability across the nation in our police deerment pas. I cannot see myself or many colleagues voting for a bill that doesnt end qualified immunity. Many people out there who support Law Enforcement and thats fine. Theres a place as We Redesign Public Safety for Law Enforcement. But it needs to, but they need to be held accountable and that happens as we end qualified immunity. So, this is an example of accountability but it needs to happen much more across the country because this is not the norm. This is the exception to see a member of Law Enforcement held accountable after they kill someone. Congressman, good to see you this morning. Thanks for joining us. Jamaal bowman of New York. With every passing moment the hope of finding people alive becomes bleak. Another body was discovered among the wreckage, bringing the total number of confirmed dead to five people. Miamidade police have identified the identities of the four of the five who died in the collapse. Stacie fang, Gladyis Lozonno and manuel lafont. Im joined by morgan this morning. What are we learning this morning . More tha 72 hours since a survivor has been pulled from the Rubble. But everyone making it very clear they are not giving up hope. Dealing with Heavy Rain and also important to note that that fire that caused so many Issues Yesterday has been abated. That is giving crews a chance to get deeper into this Rubble i spoke to the mayor of surfside and said theyll come from the top, right, bottom, and theyre not stopping until they pull every person from that building. 156 people still unaccounted for. The Family Assistance Center located a short distance from here where the families are anxiously awaiting a miracle. We know members have been asked to provide Dna Samples in hopes of potentially identifying some of these bodies when theyre recovered. But crews making it very clear this is not a recovery mission, this is still a Rescue Mission as well, ali. Were seeing infrared Sewner Technology to assist in that effort. We know in the meantime an incredibly wide perimeter set up around this scene. Champlain Towers North which is almost an identical replica has residents living inside. The mayor did not want to issue a mandatory evacuation because he wanted to give people their choice to live there or look for shelter else where. A private donor has come forward to help those people in the North Tower find a place to stay until a very important report comes out which will look at the structural integrity of the North Tower. That should take at least a week and a half to two weeks before they can officially say that it is not compromised structurally although we have seen cracks in certain parts of the Parking Garage there. And it could take years before we know the official cause of the collapse in the South Tower. We do know that engineers are arriing here and theyre going through what little they can see through that Rubble to try to learn more about that cause. But as far as the Search And Rescue effort that is still ongoing, it has become a global one. We know that on the scene here today, in fact, they walked past our live location just a few minutes ago we saw members of an israeli Search And Rescue team which the mayor tells me they were brought here by the request of the families living in the South Tower who are still waiting to hear from their loved ones. This has become an absolute effort to do whatever is necessary to get to those People In Need and try to provide some sort of closure for the families still waiting. Ali. It defies belief looking at that shot that was next to you while we were up there of the Rubble and the wreckage that were looking at. This is a live shot from a helicopter right now of that scene which is just about a block and a Half North of where morgan is standing. Morgan, thanks for your reporting. In the midst of Battle Rights to roll back access to the ballot in states that Donald Trump lost last year, one democrat has attracted almost as much negative attention from voting Rights Activists as the republicans are making it actively harder for people to vote. The West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin infuriated Voting Rights advocates and his fellow democrats earlier this month with a poorly researched oped explaining why he was opposing the for the people act. He later emerged from an avalanche of deserved criticism with a Compromise Version of the bill that incorporated some modifications that he thought would appeal to republicans. Now, considering democrats hold majorities in both the house and senate, you might assume it might not matter republicans rejected that compromise anyways but it does thanks to the republican habit of filibustering literally everything that happens in the senate forcing democrats to come up with a 60vote super majority to get literally anything passed. Democrats could clear this whole issue up by simply ending the filibuster or even changing the filibuster rules. But Senator Manchin is standing in the way of that, as well. As you can imagine, this is making voting Rights Activists very unhappy including my next Guest William Barber who was arrested while protesting Senator Manchin and the filibuster earlier this week. He told the Washington Post he was willing to get arrested in the right for fighting rights because it took this to win it and it will take this to keep it. Joining me now the Reverend Dr. William barber, the chairman of the poor Peoples Campaign and the architect of moral mondays. Following the reverend in a long tradition of Civil Disobedience in which in order to get attention to and draw attention to and get unjust things changed, you were willing to put yourself on the line as were others who protested with you to get the attention of the West Virginia Senator. Tell me about what happened and what you think comes of it. Well, were not through. Actually we were led by West Virginians and kentuckians who said a week ago when we marched in West Virginia they were tired of manchin lying on them and saying he was doing this as a senator from their state when 79 of West Virginians want the act and i call it that because he actually wrote it and the voting Rights Act. They want it as it is. So they marched on his office and then they said, lets go to d. C. And i went with them and 17 other people including Reverend Jackson and jean from West Virginia and i could name others that are saying, look, manchin and other socalled democrats and republicans are supporting a nonconstitutional filibuster over the constitutional guarantee that no State Or Government can deny or bridge the right to vote. And these are the same people, ali, and this is how we connect, that are blocking Living Wages. We didnt start being upset with manchin. He blocked 15 in the union. Hes blocking real infrastructure and talking about Coming Up with things that everything they do that they lessen what Joe Biden wants to do and i was listening to trump on cspan Last Night and the way theyre holding back the agenda of president Joe Biden is actually feeding the lie of Donald Trump. People are tired of it. When we marched in West Virginia 80 of the group was white because they know that this is not jim crowe what were seeing. Its not just targeting black people, but its targeting poor people and lowwage workers and brown and indigenous and young and disabled people and older people. If youre on the side of the republicans who continually support a filibuster, then youre not on the side of a constitution. And thats why last week was a beginning. People are calling from all over the country to recognize we need not just rallies but a season of nonviolent, Civil Disobedience and Direct Action because thats how these voting Rights Act and other things were won and thats the only way were going to keep it and expand it. It was a common place in the 60s and commonplace in the effort to end apartheid and nonviolent Direct Action across the country. Time for dems to go to 50 Plus One which means eliminating the filibuster. Time for manchin to answer the question asked by the miners in the 1920s. Which side are you on . With manchin and sinema. 15 Bucks an hour is binary, Voting Rights are binary. These are not things there is a great deal of space on. When republicans are attempting to take away Voting Rights on the widespread voter fraud, that simply does not exist. It all connects. And think about it, manchin is in a poor state. Mcconnell is in a poor state. We marched for mcconnell and manchin. They are trying to keep the infrastructure reaching to the bottom and Coming Up. Think about the Voting Compromise he wanted. He wants to take out the provisions that address dark money. Money having more power than the people. He wants to weaken in his compromise the attorney Generals Ability to sue states. Look at it very closely. He wants to take out the Felony Reenfranchisement Part of the bill. He wants to put in a photo i. D. Bill which only feeds the lie and answers a problem that doesnt even exist and he wants to feed the republicans and trump that there has been some kind of fraud in our election. His compromise is not compromise, its capitulation. This is not a moral issue, this is a constitutional issue. Not just a black issue. All of us have to stand up because this is a battle for the fundamental principles of this democracy. Poor and they dont need Anything Else. They need a Living Wage and the power to vote. They need a Living Wage to live and stand against the powers of money that want to control this Economy And Control this country. If you take those two things away from poor, low wealth people, you dont have a democracy any more. Thats why were fighting. Thats why im going to come back on your show and announce a season of Civil Disobedience. Were putting something together. This is far from over. We have to draw a line and ask that question that a white woman asked in the 1920s when the bosses tried to arrest her husband. Which side are you on, Joe Manchin . Which side are you on ms. Sinema. The constitutional side, the moral side or the other side of unconstitutional. Since its sunday and im a preacher, are you on the side of sin . Weve been together about 27 years now. Reporter for others like Shelby Malone, the path to living their Truth Isnt necessarily a straight line. It was very difficult because i was so far deep in the Bible Belt and i went to a school that prayed before every football game, before every Volleyball Game and everything. So it was really hard to accept that i am who i am. Reporter a 2018 report from the human Rights Campaign surveyed 12,000 kids between 13 and 17 who identify as lgbtq and paints a stark picture of the difficulties they face. 78 of youth not out to their parents report hearing their families make negative comments about lgbtq people. For teens who are out to their parents, nearly half say their families make them feel bad for being lgbtq. I didnt even want to tell my dad. I wasnt going to. He screamed in my face telling me i was a piece of [ bleep ] and that i was too for him to handle and how much of a disappointment i was. Reporter that same Hrc Survey finds one in four lgbtq kids say their biggest problems involve not being accepted by their families and fear of coming out to them. Its overwhelming and its tough but important. Reporter dr. George james is a licensed Marriage And Family therapist at the counsel for relationships. While some families are immediately accepting, for others it could take time and effort. If you were that person about to open up to your family, to disclose to your family being able to be patient with them. Reporter dr. James encourages families to talk openly about sexuality. He believes those personal and candid conversations can ultimately make all the difference. Be open. Ask questions. But dont try to be the cool parent because that never really works. Dont make it about you and your experience. Yes, as a parent you have certain thoughts and vision for your child. And its okay that you might have to deal with that loss. Reporter the Trevor Project a nonprofit Lgbtq Suicide Prevention organization launched a national survey centered on Mental Health in kids who identify as lgbtq. Over the past year, the number of participants who say they seriously considered suicide jumped 2 to 42 . Warning signs like a change in behavior and no longer hanging out with their friends could be hiding in plain sight. As for Shelby Malone she is healthy and happy living with her girlfriend, courtney, and encouraged by the steps her family is taking to build a healthy relationship. My mom was like, i dont care. There have been nearly 2. 9 billion vaccine doses administered across the globe but it has become clear that the fight against covid is far from over. Right now the Delta Variant, which was first discovered in india is surging in the united states. A surge that dr. Anthony fauci warns is the biggest concern in the fight against the virus. Similar to the situation in the uk, the Delta Variant is currently the greatest threat in the u. S. To our attempt to eliminate covid19. The cdc says the Delta Variant accounts for 20 of new cases and will soon become the most dominant variant in the united states. Delta is so dangerous that the World Health Organization is urging all people to wear masks, even those who have been fully vaccinated. Global health officials have now detected a mutation of the Delta Variant called delta plus, which is becoming a greater cause for concern. Joining me is the Founder Director of emerging infectious Disease Policy and Research And Msnbc contributor. Couple things i wanted to ask you about this. This is the dominant strain for new infections, but i assume this is mostly infecting people who have not been vaccinated. Thats right, ali. What we found is that majority of the places that you look at have been following a couple places in Missouri And Colorado and texas and everywhere you look are people who are hospitalized are those who are vaccinated. I mentioned, i saw that you mentioned the w. H. O. s stance and the one thing that we need to keep in mind is that even though the hospitalizations and severe disease are still maintained if you have gotten the two doses of pfizer or moderna, it looks like a few more break through and their advice is probably better suited in places where you dont have enough vaccinations and you might have more rampant. I get this question all the time, what do i do in the face of the Delta Variant and the suggestion that i have if youre immuno compromised even if youve been vaccinated, you should still consider wearing a mask indoors and in crowded spaces. If you have medical conditions, you know, consider wearing a mask indoors if youre vaccinated in areas where delta might be sparking until we have a bit more data. So, when you say the term breakthrough. We think of that as, i got vaccinated and yet i still got the infection. With respect to the Delta Variant, what your vaccination prevents you from most likely in the very high 90 range is from serious illness or vaccination, but in terms of actually getting the Delta Variant, its lower. You do stand some chance of being able to get that. Ever so slightly lower. On an individual level it makes a difference if youre someone who is immuno compromised or medical conditions. It matters less as a population level. The difference is 94, 95 versus 88. That is sort of the drop in the overall that we saw from trials and realworld data, right. The other concern that i have, ali, if there is that drop and were seeing, you know, delta now spread. The two things that i hope the cdc looks at, of course, one thing we need to work on is increasing the Vaccination Rate is how we keep hospitals from getting overwhelmed and keep ourselves from getting sick. Two things i hope the cdc does is provide some guidance. The number one question that i get asked, do i wear a mask now because delta, the second most popular question is, i got Johnson Johnson vaccine, what do i do . Some concern about since we dont yet have clinical data, we think that youre still going to be protected against hospitalizations and deaths. There are some concern that it might be time to consider if people who got Johnson Johnson should have a booster and youre seeing a lot of experts talk about that. So, before fall i hope the cdc provides some guidance around that and i also hope they continue to suggest, right now were not testing people who are vaccinated and maybe we should just to get a sense of whether the vaccinated are part of any change in transmission. We know from prior data that people vaccinated are less likely to transmit. We want to make sure that is true in delta from my perspective. Im not putting my masks away until the day you come on this show and tell me it is time to do that. Thanks for joining us, as always. The move comes after republicans blocked a bipartisan bill which was negotiated by members of their own party that would have created a nonpartisan investigative commissions along the lines of the 9 11 commission. This committee will be bipartisan. The House Speaker Nancy pelosi says she hopes House Minority Leader Kevin Mccarthy will appoint responsible people, thats her words, rather than Conspiracy Theorists from his caucus to sit on the committee. In other words, when Marjorie Taylor Greene files her resume, maybe file it in the recycling bin. He refused to say whether he would staff it with members who actually believed that the insurrection happened and would like to stop it from happening again. I dont know that there is a select committee. The speakers never talked to me about it. She hasnt set the scope. [ inaudible ] she hasnt told me anything. The question that youre referring to asked if i would talk to you about it. I have no problem talking to anybody about it. Mccarthy has become known for downplaying the attack after weeks of Dodging Requests from Michael Finnone who was injured in the insurrection, he agreed to see him on friday. He asked him to publicly denounce the lies and conspiracy theories coming from the caucus, but that apparently is too much to ask. Mccarthy agreed only to address some of those issues, quote, on iapersonal level. Joining me now is democratic representative ayanna pressley. Congresswoman, great to have you on the show. Thank you for being with us. I dont really get the personal level thing. I guess on one level thats good that hes going to talk to people on a personal level about it. But this isnt personal. It was personal to people like you and finone and members of congress and their staff, but actually this was a national problem, this was an insurrection, this was an attack on democracy. Im not quite sure dealing with this on a personal level is sufficient for the leader. It certainly is not sufficient, but its more of the same. The insurrection that occurred on January 6th was a threat to our democracy, to everyone in proximity in that capitol who experienced great trauma. There was injury, and, in fact, sadly, loss of life as well. Everyone must be held accountable who played a role in emboldening this lie, and that includes members of congress. So in my capacity on the Oversight Committee thats certainly something that ive been calling for from the very beginning is that anyone who aided and abetted in this must be held accountable. We must ensure that something like this not only occurs at the capitol but never anywhere again. They were wearing antisemitic shirts. They erected a noose on the were lawn of the capitol. They called united States Capitol Police officers and used racial epithets, the nword have err and over again. We have to root out the threat of White Supremacy. And it is a threat to our democracy and to this country, and we must also address the cousin of White Supremacy or the sibling, rather, and that is systemic and structural racism. Lets talk about a couple other things that are going on because weve got systemic and structural racism in policing in this country. There appears to be something approaching a deal on the George Floyd Justice and policing act. There may not be sufficient material on qualified immunity to satisfy certain members of the democratic party. Its something that republicans really want sort of a backing off on the elimination of qualified immunity for police. Where do you stand on this . Well, we know that there can never be true justice. True justice would mean that we would never have been robbed of these with them today. There can never be true justice. There, however, must be accountability. And that is exactly why early on i introduced over a year ago a bill to end qualified immunity. There must be accountability. And Law Enforcement have been able to operate with callous standard for black and brown bodies disproportionately to operate with reckless impunity without any consequences. And so there can never be true justice, but there must be accountability. And that is why we have got to end qualified immunity. I also want to ask you about something else thats ending, and that is the moratorium on people getting evicted because they have not been able to pay their rent. You know, there are a lot of people who think this pandemic is way behind us. For people who have not worked and earned a living and for whom the extended Unemployment Benefits are coming to an end. This threat of eviction of losing your home well after everybody else thinks the pandemic is done is very real. Thats right. You know, i serve on the financial services committee, and prepandemic, there were some 3. 7 million eviction filings a year. This is a devastating and disruptive life event. Its policy violence. Thats what i would characterize it as. And thats why i wrote a Letter Seeking to extend that eviction moratorium. Im glad they heeded our calls. But it must be go beyond july 31st. This is a matter of the public health. This is also a racial and economic justice issue. People must remain safely housed. And, further, in my capacity on the financial services committee, we led the fight in fighting for those robust investments in a rental Assistance Fund both to meet the needs of renters and also small landlords. State and federal must work closely to get those funds out. Many of those funds have yet to be distributed from the american rescue plan. And let me ask you about this Infrastructure Bill Deal thing that weve got that a number of republican senators said, hold on, we didnt make that deal, now the White House is saying its okay, are were going to do this compromise on Infrastructure And Deal with other things outside. Are you happy that theres a Compromise Bill that may pass the united states senate, or are you uncomfortable with the degree to which compromises have been made to get that bipartisanship . Well, im glad that President Biden and speaker pelosi have made it plain that bipartisan bill is not enough and that that is not anything that we should be moving on without a pathway to a bold reconciliation bill. This is about human and physical infrastructure. Progressives in congress have been leading this fight, climate justices infrastructure, Housing Justice is infrastructure, Public Transmit justice is infrastructure. And so these bold investments must be made to support workers and families in order for us to have a just equitable and robust recovery from this pandemic and then, again, to make sure that we do more than just recover to a precovid Status Quo normal because that was already insufficient and unjust. So we have got to make these bold investments. Thank you for joining us. And weve got much more Coming Up on velshi. Biden walking back his threat to veto that bipartisan Infrastructure Deal. Democratic senator Alex Padilla and republican Congressman Andrew Garbarino will join me next to talk about the fate of this agreement that almost started to fall apart as soon as it began. The next hour of velshi begins right now. Good morning, it is sunday, june 27th. Im ali velshi.
