The dangerousness of what theyre doing with the socalled audit of ours on his Election Results is now causing some republicans who initially supported it, to not just jump off this proverbial ship, but they are now trying to torpedo that proverbial ship itself. Republicans in Maricopa County, including some who initially sort poured this thing, there are not only demanding an end to the count, they are saying they will refused to cooperate with or have anything to do with it anymore. They are now pledging, among other things, to defend the integrity amongst Arizonas Election by fighting in court any purported results thats involved for this audit. Some of the most lowered allegations made by the socalled audit group, the socalled recount groups, about something being terribly wrong and them having discovered terrible discrepancies. In what theyve recounted and audited thus far. Some of their most lowered and irresponsible claims. Theyve actually walked back tonight, admitted that they are true. We will have more on this ahead. The fight back from republicans in arizona, who went along with this at first, but now recognize how dangerous and bad this is, whats gonna do, not only to future elections in arizona, but potentially what it will do to future elections for the whole country. Their fight back over the past 24 hours is like all of a sudden, really loud. And like really angry. At times, really eloquent. Its something to behold, particularly if you felt how differently is not all that long ago. Its interesting, that has been unfolding over the last 24 hours. Even as there was big news about the other one of this nonsense trump, fraud, fantasy quest, been pursuing achealist have country. This includes that seem, super serious from called the Cyber Ninjas that arizona republicans hired to run the Recap Clown Show in arizona. The Cyber Ninjas, and this whole same cast of characters, indulging this Voter Fraud Fantasy thing. In addition to the messing with the ballots, whether doing with the Election Results in arizona, theyve been pursuing a Court Case in michigan. A county called antrim michigan. Theyve also been alleging all the same, bizarre conspiracies and fantasies. About how trump secretly won reelection, even though it looks like he lost. Because something, and something, bamboo, something communism, mike flynn, byebye pillow. Something something. They have been pursuing this in arizona with the recount, which is now completely split the republican party. Half the party is like we have to stop doing this. The Trump Loyalist are persisting. In michigan, today as Republicanin Arizona were throwing down the gauntlet demanding a into the increasingly dangerous nonsense with arizonas ballots there, simultaneously, they are pursuing this in michigan. Today a judge in Tantrum County michigan, threw out the Cyber Ninjas Court Case there. So, weve got a massive backlash, even within the republican party as to what theyre trying to do in arizona. The other place theyve been looking to get one of these up is in michigan. Today that was stopped by a michigan judge. [noise] we will have more and months going on there today. It does feel like a bit of a Pivot Point in terms of how far the republican party, at least in the states, is going to be able to indulge the Trump Fantasy that he is secretly somehow the president , even though he lives in a Golf Club in florida. But, speaking of michigan, here is a Story Today thats also something different for us. I find this absolutely fascinating on ten different levels. If you think about an american company that is a really big company, a company with a huge amount of revenue, a hugely successful retail enterprises, what do you think out . You might think of cocacola, or nike, or mcdonalds, or maybe even a big Credit Card Company like visa. All those Big American companies, indeed, make tens of billion dollars a year in revenue. Just huge companies. Huge annual income. Non annual income, annual revenue in millions, but in billions. Tens of billions. Do you want to know whats bigger than any of those, though . This. This truck. I dont mean like the Ford Motor Company has more money than visa, and nike, and mcdonalds, it does. I mean, literally just this truck. Ford makes a lot of things for makes cars cars of course, suvs, crossovers, they just released the Ford Bronco which is super cute. They make Transit Vans and heavy duty commercial vehicles of all sorts and sizes. They even make white is basically a super car. And if thats the wrong thing to call it, im truly sorry. If you can just let me borrow your 4g Tea im sure i will learn all the proper terminology and get it out to you without a scratch. Of all the things that ford makes, the thing that they make that alone in more revenue than mcdonalds, visa, or cocacola, is the f1 50, excuse me the Fseries Truck. Its the most popular vehicle in america. It always is. More Ford Fone full Size Pickups, are sold, more vehicles are these are sold than any in the country. That is true every year, year, after year, decade after, decade. Its never even close. The amount of revenue that just full size for pickups generate over the year is more than 42 Billion Dollars a year. Just on that one vehicle alone. Dwarfing all those other american companies. Just with this one type of ford truck. I so thats, if thats what you work on if youre part of the, you know, ford Fseries Truck manufacturing, marketing, sales process, if you look at that and think dont screw that up. They make 42 Billion Dollars a year on these vehicles. Nothing else in america comes anywhere close. It has been that way for decades, dont screw it up. A couple years ago, 2019, ford did a stunned with their flagship, full Size Pickup. It was in a Rail Yard in an undisclosed location. They put out a video, a very slick video. It showed, ultimately, one truck, one f1 50, towing more than 1 Million pounds. You see all these trucks that are sort of streaming by the front of your screen. That is 42 have one fifties, Lined Up, nose to tail. They picked 42 of them because that represents 42 years that the ford full Size Pickup has been the best Selling Vehicle in america. 42 of them nose to tail, those Lined Up to be the same length as ten double Decker Freight Train cars. And ten double Decker Freight Train cars way more than 1 Million pounds. What they did in this stand, is they had their new truck, just one of them, their new ford, put on a Toe Strap [laughs] and told those ten double deckers Freight Train cars. More than 1 Million pounds of towing being towed by this one Ford F1 50. Then they upped the game. All those 42 pickups, those new Pick Ups that were Lined Up alongside the Train Cars, they actually drove them into the train car. As they drove those four Dew Trucks that they had brought into the Train Cars, loaded them into the Train Cars. So now this thing was that much heavier. But again, they had just that one truck, that one Truck Tow the ten Train Cars again, this time the Train Cars contain the other 40 to Pick Up trucks inside them. And, you know, its a stunt first ford. Nobody knows where this is going, whatever it is they are demonstrating. Beside the woman whos driving, apparently organizing the, thing she explains to the Ford Chuck owners that they assembled for this stunt, that as they were driving, as they assembled this toe, she could feel the weight of the 1 Million plus pounds. Even with the 42 trucks loaded into the Train Cars, over 1. 2 Million pounds being told by this one vehicle, she said it didnt feel like too much of a stretch. It was fine. I mean, truck adds, for context here, 1 Million pounds, 1. 2 Million pounds towing, is that a big deal . For context, Truck Ads at this point like brag to the high heavens that theyre full Size Pickups can tow 10,000 pounds, or 15,000 pounds. Here, a couple years ago, its ford unveiling something that can tow 1 Million pounds . 1. 2 Million pounds . It doesnt even make sense. Its not even like walking outside and your used to a Blue Sky and instead the sky is green. Its like walking outside and youre used to a Blue Sky, and instead the sky is food. Like, its just like, wrong. Something different. A Pick Up Truck Towing over 1 Million pounds, that doesnt even compute. It just seems like a typo. That was 2019 from ford. The big reveal from that stunt, was that the Magic Truck that was able to do the 1 Million pound plus towing, was an electric truck. It was the prototype of fords new electric after 1 50. Its electric, and it can do that . No, it can do that because its electric. Heres the thing, whether or not you care about Pick Up trucks, whether or not you care about cars, whether or not you care about Electric Cars, even whether or not climate and energy are things that keep you up at night, or not, if the Ford F1 50 becomes an electric vehicle, if ford can transition that particular vehicle to electric, because as an electric vehicle, its better, Goodbye Gas cars in america. There isnt a single thing that could be done in this country to move us further and faster towards and no gas automated of autumn manic Future And Everything that means french for structure, and climate, and everything else of it. There is nothing else that can move us further and faster toward that than this one vehicle, this one specific vehicle. Not only having an electric option, but actually being better as an electric vehicle that it is as a gas one. Being more capable as an electric vehicle than it is as a gas one. Pick up Truck Owners in this country, and there are millions of them, they want their vehicles to be better and more productive. They want them to look cool. F one fifties recently changed from steel bodies to aluminum bodies. When they made that change, everybody said oh, Truck Owners are going to think it was percy, and its a big mistake by. Ford Truck Owners werent going to like that. Aluminum seems like a Roy C material. Actually, it turns out that Electric Cars made by aluminum instead a steel bodies are more capable. They can do more with that change in materials, with really no downside that made any difference in anybodys life. F one fifties recently shifted from the most popular engine being a big va, two instead being a boosted v six. Not because F 1 50 owners got any greener in the sensibilities, but because the smaller engine turned out to be better. It was better. The Ego Boost V six, more hauling capability, more towing capability. And yes, uses less gas. Even if you dont care about that, The Point is still that it was better. More power, faster, more capable, and improvement. So yeah, everybody wants the better option. Everybody wants the better vehicle. Everybody wants the better engine. Everybody wants the better body. Ford did recently start offering a hybrid truck. Do Ford F1 50 troconis want a hybrid . I dont know, maybe some do. You know what Truck Owners do want . They want to be able to do stuff that they couldnt do before, or that they needed expense of other equipment to be able to do. I dont know what Ford F1 50 owners and potential customers think about the hybrid in the abstract, but you know what people really liked and turned out, really wanted . It was the freaking generator that came wired into that truck. Into the bed of that truck. What ford did, the founded a way to use the technology in the truck to literally put a Generator In and that you could plug stuff into. Theres like plugs that you have in your house, right next to the tv. Do you want in the abstract the latest technology gigantic multi Pound Work Vehicle . No, not in the abstract. If you live in texas in the power goes out for days because it got cold, and texas is Power Grid Cant operate anymore in the cold, then being able to back your truck up to the front of the house, so you can run Extension Cords to it and keep stuff in your house plugged in when all your neighbors have the lights out, yeah. It turns out people want that. Not necessarily because it comes in an eco conscious package, but because thats cool. Thats really useful. Thats better than not having that. Mass Consumer Adoption of a better product, when that product is already selling everything else in its class by a mile, for decades, thats the kind of change that instantly renders everything else obsolete. Now, im a little reluctant to talk about this on tv because, i that means i dont necessarily have a good sense as to how much Appetite Anybody else has to hear about these things. Am a Car Person. [laughs] im a card person, im on my second Ford F1 50. I had two other ford trucks before those. For everything thats different between susan and i, part of the reason i think we got togethers because we are both car people. When i met susan she had a six Jay Carburetor with her initials in Gold Leaf on the door. I was like, Oh My God i think im dead. Because, i just met you, and seriously, thats yours . Im dead. My left as i knew it before is over. Please can i meet your car . That was her car, that was her jeep. I set it on fire many times, squirting Starter Fluid into it on the hood as she tried to run over the engine. Being a Car Person doesnt necessarily mean you are mechanically minded. But, you know, whether or not you are good with a carburetor, youre either into cars or your not. Its fine either way. As a news matter, whether youre into it or youre not, it is worth knowing that right now, the single most important Leap Forward our country can make to becoming an electric car country, is for this one specific vehicle. The best Selling Car in the country, by a mile, for decades, the Ford F1 50, to become an electric vehicle. And for it to become an electric vehicle, because, the electric version of it is better than what it was when it was only offered as gas. President biden did give away some of the specs. We did get to see him driving around. He actually said to reporters, he thought he could or sort oF 16 4. 5 seconds. A full cap Pick Up. Those are sort of very fast numbers. It didnt sound like he had that right, until he in fact hit the gas and went off into the horizon like the truck had been fired from a gun. That all happened today ahead of the formal revealing of this truck, tomorrow night. Lindas saying came to this country when she was in third grade. Detroit free press suggested a profile on her that explains a little bit of a back story. She came here at age eight. She spoke zero english. I imagine though that being the person in charge of that was kind of fun. Was there anything that you particularly enjoyed or thought was cool about trying to put it through its paces . That former President Donald Trump and his supporters got very excited, because the socalled audit of the 2020 president ial election in arizona had finally found it smoking gun. It said they found the evidence that the president ial election was tempered west somehow, and maybe this was the proof that Donald Trump really didnt lose our zone, and therefore he didnt lose the election and therefore secretly he still president , and all will be revealed. Former President Trump rushed out a statement about it, saying quote, the entire database of Maricopa County in arizona has been all caps, deleted. This is illegal. The Arizona State Senate who is leading the forensic and, it is audit is up in arms. Is the republicans that run the Arizona State Senate, did seize more than 2 Million ballots from arizonas largest county, they did hand them over to a firm called Cyber Ninjas, to recount all president ial election. They were up in arms. Its true, just like Donald Trump said. Today they announced that they would be holding a hearing. With the Qanon Conspiracy Theory promoter who run Cyber Ninjas, and the other folks theyve got running this socalled audit. They said they would hold this hearing, to get to the bottom of this scandal. To tell america whats going on with the smoking gun, diluted database. But then, at the hearing today, the geniuses running the audit actually had to admit, oh, sorry, we do actually have the database and its not the lead in. We misunderstood. Never mind. Election auditors say they have the data that they accused Maricopa County of deleting. Oh, we have that. You said you throw it out. We have it. That whole thing the former president was yelling about the election crime he had discovered, that would undo the 2020 election and put him back in the white house. Never mind, that didnt happen oops. But something about the latest debacle involving the Clam Shell Arizona audit, that messing with the Arizona Election was seemingly to say that they are breaking something. Breaking something open among republicans who had previously supported this socalled audit. Or at least, stayed begrudgingly silent about. It the recently elected republican, americana reporter Maricopa County reporter, which means he was just elected in november, he defeated the democratic incumbent and became the new county reporter, but because he was just elected in november, that means he had literally nothing to do with administering the election in november. He just took office this year after he himself was elected in that election. He has said publicly, he had no interest in getting involved in this Clown Show fight over what happened in the november election. He was clearly hoping just to sit it out, and then it would blow over. But its not blowing over. One former President Donald Trump put out a statement this weekend talking about the supposed deletion of maricopas database, and that being huge crime, Maricopa Countys Election Administrator decided that he had finally had enough. He can no longer sit by and hope this all went away. He said quote, wow, this is unhinged. Talking about President Trump statement. Im literally looking at our Voter Registration Base on my screen right now. Wow he said, we cant indulge these insane lies any longer. As a party. As a state. As a country. This is as rare doubly falsify a ball as twoplustwo it goes by. If we dont call this out. And he just let this left this there at the ellipses. On the one hand, republicans in arizona now, finally, they appear to be standing up in some numbers in calling this stuff out. It seems like they are mostly doing it because they recognize that they are starting to look foolish. For example, you could hear the exasperations in The Voice of that republican, in The American and the Maricopa County election official, and the supervisors in the County Yesterday talked about the litany of insanity, even just he has been subjected to and his few short months in office. I have been in accused of inserting fake ballots delivered from a South Korean plane. More recently, i have been accused of deleting entire databases, even though i participated in the transference of all databases to the senate. I have seen them with my own eyes, and even though i still have access to the current fully functional database. It is enough. Supervisor hickman has even been accused of Feeding Ballots to hundreds of thousands of chickens at his farm, and then purposely incinerated them. Incinerating the chickens, to cover up the evidence that the chickens aid the ballots. Because you wouldnt just incinerate the ballots, you would want them to passed through chicken first. Then, you gotta get rid of the chickens. See . Come on. Dont think we dont know how to play this game. The chicken in the middle of the Incineration Process [noise] it can all be read reverse engineered, then Joe Biden would be president. But he even won republican State Senator who voted for this audit, now tells the New York times, quote, it makes us look like idiots. Look at that, i didnt think it would be this ridiculous, looking back. Its embarrassing to be a State Senator at this point. The Maricopa County boyd of supervisors, its a five County Board, four of them republicans, today they refused an invitation from the State Senate president to attend that hearing they help today. The fake considers Conspiracy Theories they hired to run the supposes audit. The supervisors instead wrote to the republican party of the united states senate, and this is what they said. Quote, you have rented out the once good named good name of the Arizona State Senate to grifters and con artists, who are fundraising hard earned money from our fellow citizens even as your contractors parade around the coliseum, hunting for Bamboo And Something they call can emetic artifacts while shining purple lights for effect. None of things things are done in a serious. Audit and our democracy is imperiled. The split in the Arizona Republican Party thats spilling out into the open this week, seems to have a reason in parts, because of the Republicans Concern about being a laughing stock. Yes. But they are also making The Point, you know, that as much as people are laughing at them about this, as bad as that is, this else has serious consequences. Not just about how americans thinking abstract about our democracy, you know, about if elections are real things that we should use that have object ugly verifiable outcomes, and thats how we make decisions in this country. Even on to that big picture, just looking at the very short term, and locally, arizona republicans are now saying, hey, when we next have elections in this state in 2022 but doing this, indulging in every Conspiracy And Fantasy about supposed Election Fraud that we can conjure from the ether and treating it all like its equally serious, and it all must be tracked down, by doing this we are on track to have an electorate that doesnt believe in the results of the next election. At least, that doesnt believe the results of the next election. We certified the election back in november, but now, its time to say enough is enough. It is time to push back on the big lie. We must do this. We must do this as a member of the republican party. We must do this as a member of the Board Of Supervisors. We need to do this as a country. Otherwise, we are not going to be able to move forward and have an election in 2022, that we can all believe the results, whatever they may be.
