S. Space command has confirmed that it reentered. They did not say whether fill on land or water. So Space Command is being a little bit more tentative. China basically took a giant gamble here. And it looks at this point, like it paid off. It was a water landing, where there is no reports of injuries. People in parts of the middle east did report seeing debris in the sky. But so far, there are no reports of injuries or even a building damage. It was a gamble because, 70 of the earth is covered in water. So the chances were it would land in water. But it certainly wasnt a guarantee. And that has prompted a lot of criticism from nasa and also from space scientists, his its prompted a great deal of criticism because this is not something china would ever have been able to guarantee. Theyve done it before, right . We know the Chinese Space rockets have landed on ivory coast. Debris damaged buildings there. This morning, it appears the gamble has paid off.
