It is a short sided strategy because theres a reuters poll that shows young republicans across the country and republican clubs and universities say it is time to move on beyond trump. You have to build a base, build a Foundation Within the Republican Party. If you have young people that believe in Climate Change and they are climate deniers, believe in the vaccine and want to be strong republicans, you cant have even more factions within the Republican Party. We have seen so many, it is just the trump faction is the loudest. Right now, the strongest. Beyond primaries, the Republican Party really needs to figure out what they want to do with this faction if they want to survive as a party. You have a lot more independents, moderates, and weak leaning republicans saying enough is enough, it is blatant cheating, where is the former president , he is not saying or doing anything. The country was really divided under him, racially and otherwise, why dont we actually think about what joe biden is doing without Blind Loyalty to trump and his version of the Republican Party. The sheriff can disclose video on his or her own, that means they can allow Family Members to see the video, but family cant keep the video. There has to be a court order for the video to be released. Judges have a lot of discretion, they can release part of it or blur out parts. Has nothing to do with resources, it has to do whether we have a government that cares about this and consistent abuse of black men. What do you expect to hear from biden on this issue, and i wonder if you think youll hear from tim scott in the republican response. I think first, joe biden is going to Say Something clear. Were not going to defund the police, not going to abolish the police because he needs to say those things politically. Joe biden and democrats think it is an issue of throwing more money at the problem. You cant throw more money at the problem. Currently, George Floyd Policing Act, a great start, talks about collecting information, getting rid of qualified immunity. That wouldnt prevent somebody like Derek Chauvin from doing what he did to george floyd. We would have been collecting information after people die. Thats why i suggest adding things like decertification to the George Floyd Policing Act. If youre a Police Officer with a license, found to engage in terrible behavior, even if not convicted, we can snatch your license just like a bad teacher, bad nurse, bad lawyer, bad insurance agent.
