Montgomery police unit among vehicles hit by gunfire

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Several vehicles including a Montgomery Police Department vehicle were hit by gunfire Saturday night.
According to Lt. Jarrett Williams, officers responded to the area of Mt. Meigs Road and Chase Street in reference to a large party.
While officers were on scene, an unknown subject fired rounds which hit multiple vehicles, including an MPD vehicle, Williams said.
Williams said no officers were injured.
