Misleading claims on US flu shot ingredients recirculate

US health authorities recommend an annual vaccine to protect against influenza. This year's campaign to encourage vaccination was met on social media with renewed misleading claims about ingredients in the shot, most of which are not present; others help improve the effectiveness of the jab and have been tested for safety, experts say.
