Mirwaiz placed under 'house arrest' ahead of Jumat-ul-Vida |

Ahead of Jumat-ul-Vida (last Friday of Ramadan), the local authorities have placed Kashmir’s chief cleric, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, under house arrest and closed the historic Jamia Masjid.
