The 2023 Mira Mesa Independence Day celebration is on July 2 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 pm. The fireworks will be set off from the fields by Wangenheim Middle School at 9 p.m. on July 2, with a community picnic area open from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Hourglass Field Community Park.
