Milwaukee activist Khalil Coleman in custody at Milwaukee County Jail “On February 15th I was arrested in Kenton county accused of a crime I did not commit,” Coleman said in a Facebook post. Coleman missed a scheduled court date and as a result a warrant was issued. He was booked into Milwaukee County Jail on April 26. He said he is awaiting extradition to Kentucky. Last summer in Milwaukee, Coleman was one of the main organizers for marches against police brutality after George Floyd was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis.
