Police Commissioner Cressida Dick said she had considered an all-female squad to police the Sarah Everard vigil
Everard was allegedly kidnapped and killed by a serving Met officer in March
The policing of the vigil was heavily criticised after pictures of police arresting women made headlines around the world
Dick told the Commons home affairs committee that she opted not to use the female support unit because it was 'hugely divisive among my people'
