DEC and AMR to Hold Media Availability on Opening Day of Pilot Parking Reservation Program
What: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Ausable Club/Adirondack Mountain Reserve (AMR) will be available to answer questions about the first day of the Pilot Parking Reservation program at AMR. Announced on March 29, the pilot program will operate from May 1 through Oct. 31, and will help facilitate safer public access to trailheads through the AMR gate and for Noonmark and Round mountains, improving visitors' trip planning and preparation by ensuring a guaranteed parking upon arrival.
