Lewis, Mary Alice (Brady) beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, age 83, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Born October 27, 1940 to Lawrence Willis and Helen Marie (Zuendel) Brady in Starr, PA, Mary had fond memories of growing up on a farm in a close-knit community with family close by. She graduated from West Forest High School in Tionesta, PA in 1958. Mary worked for the U.S. Marine Corps in Arlington, VA from 1958 to 1962, the U.S. Air Force in Hawaii from 1963 to 1965 and again for the Navy in Arlington from 1965 to 1967. She married Robert Edwin Lewis of Mantorville, MN on November 13, 1959 in Arlington, VA, following a whirlwind romance. The two were married for almost 61 years before "Bob" passed away in 2020. Mary had a deep faith and enjoyed reading thrillers and murder mysteries, but her biggest joy in life was her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Chauncey, Larry and Dennis. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Michael (Dyana) of Edina, MN, Edwin (Suzy) of Apple Valley, MN, Daniel of Rosemount, MN and daughter, Michelle of Apple Valley; brother Tom of Oil City, PA, and by her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on June 8 at 11:00 am, followed by services at noon at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 14980 Diamond Path, Rosemount, MN. Reception following.
