The New Zealand sharemarket stayed stubbornly flat but storm clouds surround marketer a2 Milk as it fell a further 5 per cent and more to a new low.
The S&P/NZX 50 Index slipped 30.11 points
or 0.24 per cent to 12,620.52, after trading in a narrow range of 12,592.77 to 12,693.15. There were 80 gainers and 58 decliners over the whole market on solid volume of 46.58 million share transactions worth $194.92 million.
