Margot Fleischman joined Mayor Paul Brodeur’s office as the director of strategic initiatives and communications on June 7. “In the short time I’ve been here, I’ve already learned so much,” Fleischman said. “Melrose as a whole is so welcoming, and I’m enjoying getting to know the community.” A Belmont resident, Fleischman is currently chair and a long-serving member of the Bedford Select Board as well as president of the Board of Directors of Communities for Restorative Justice.
