The Manassas City Council on Monday approved a $333 million spending plan that will raise the average city homeowner's real estate taxes by more than $260 annually. The fiscal 2025 budget, originally proposed by Interim Manassas City Manager Douglas Keen at a Feb. 26 City Council meeting, was approved upon its second reading during Monday's council meeting. The new fiscal year begins July 1.
