A Millville man is wanted back here in Toms River and Ocean County for the attempted murder of a woman that occurred at the Howard Johnson hotel on Hooper Avenue near Route 37 last week. Get our free mobile app Toms River Police arrived on scene March 3 around 10:30 pm to find a woman on the floor of the hotel lobby suffering from multiple stab wounds to her head, face and body. She was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she remains in critical but stable condition. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and the Toms River Police Detective Bureau began an investigation which led them identifying 34-year old Carles Bryant as the man responsible for the attack.
