Man jailed for lock knife and theft offences in Bournemouth

A MAN has been jailed for several months after he was caught with a lock knife in Bournemouth town centre.
Robert Simion Deal, 37, had the blade in Westover Road on April 4, 2020, along with a foil lined bag to commit theft offences.
He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on April 29 to be sentenced for these offences along with a series of Bournemouth store thefts and being in a vehicle that had been taken without the owner’s consent.
Deal, of Kimmeridge Avenue, Poole, previously admitted possession of a knife in public, going equipped for theft, breach of a conditional discharge order, four counts of theft, and being carried in a motor vehicle taken without the owner’s consent.
