HALLSBORO, N.C. (WECT) - A Chadbourn man is accused of assaulting and stabbing another man at a Columbus County gas station on New Year’s Day.
According to a news release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 2:30 p.m. to Sam’s Pit Stop, located at 4236 Sam Potts Highway near Hallsboro, after receiving a report of man suffering from a stab wound.
