Man charged after machete assault during Pa. street fight: police

A 45-year-old North Catasauqua man has been charged after police said he used a machete to assault a 38-year-old man during a street fight Sunday night.
Officers were dispatched at 9:44 p.m. to the 1000 block of Second Street for a report of a fight that involved several people, police said. A witness flagged down the officers and showed them a video of the violent altercation, police said
One man suffered a severe cut to his left arm and was flown to a hospital, police said.
Ramon Alberto Sanchez Rosa, of the 1000 block of Second Street, was still carrying the weapon as he went into his home, police said. He was arrested after a search warrant was served, police said.
